Cabled crochet cardigan design:
Welcome to my new and adorable baby hoodie Cabled crochet
cardigan design. This is a small 3-6 months baby cardigan jacket made for the
clod season, it protect and warm the little ones. Today I sharing for you don’t
forget this simple idea and check out for the little ones, and protect him and
her for the cold and spring.
Instructions: I am
using one of the boy color brown, you also choose for another different boy
colors as your own choice and make this baby sweater for your loving children
or gifted to friends. this simple and beginner cable jacket can be easily
adjust in many of the other sizes large and more large sizes, but you have to
notice when you making a large size you have to make the starting chains in the
desire size and then work in the body, I think you understand .if you are the
beginner and want to make the same size, try to this simple and easy
instructions.
I added a half double crochet and cable stitch in this baby
hooded jacket/cardigan .it’s a lovely and thick stitch for the babies’ item, I
give the simple and easy idea for the cable to made the same video. If you have
a problem to understanding the pattern you can see the videos.
This thick baby

Deletehowcome the back of the body is said 11 inches and the front 9 inches? are they not the same lenght?also, the same number of rows for the front (36) gives me about 4 rows longer than the back, given the cable that makes it a bit wider each row. Is this normal?
ReplyDeleteP.S: solved the difference between 11 and 9 inches by re-watching video. Front 9 inch is up to row 28-29 included. by 36th row is 11 inches. But still have longer length at front. Undid 2 rows. Now fits same length. New question: can you tell me the width of the cardigan where ribbed? Mine is 10 to 10 and a half inches and would according to measure tables be an 18 months old...Yet length from shoulder to bottom, ribbing included, gives same at back as yours: 11 inches. What is the width of the back panel at ribbing, in your model? thanks. would really want to end this for a baby shower coming up soon...looks cute but am stuck to know if width is okay at 10.25-10.5 inches at bottom of back...Thanks for gorgeous pattern!

I also managed the converse for 3-6 months and they are wonderful. Had to figure out amount of stitches at times, but managed. Great patterns and videos. Tnks

Deletewhen i do the body ending with 25 stitches there is no way i end with a bpdc which you must in order to start next row with fpdc. so i started in 3rd stitch from hook instead of 4th. also you don't what row to end to start for the neck

DeleteWhen making the front parts of the cardigan I follow the pattern and chain 27 ad continue as follows but once finished the front parts aren’t big enough to join to be able to button it up. Does that make sense?

ReplyDeleteThis written pattern is a bit confusing. The 2 front panels have to be made opposite. You cannot work the right and left the same way. I had to rewrite it.

I’ve been crocheting for years and am struggling with it. Not sure how a beginner would figure it out.
I don’t like crocheting a whole project by video. I would rather have a good written pattern.

DeleteThis pattern fits a 2-3 year old according to measurements. I had to do a lot of revisions starting with left front of cardigan through to the sleeves. It’s a nice pattern for a toddler and I’d be happy to share the revisions I made to follow written pattern easier. I use a sizing chart for sweaters and the back length for a 3-6 month old is 6.25”
