Today topic is a Baby crochet jumpsuit pattern for new born size. So simple and easy pattern of all moms who are working/making crochet baby patterns. Best idea for simple crochet baby items, warm and cozy. Love this project I hope you all like it so much and appreciate my great idea for crochet baby romper pattern. 

In my previous post I am telling u about my new pattern cardigan or jacket. we worked for 0-3 months baby size’s crocheted this baby romper sweater to the normal normal Dk Weight yarn with 4mm hook, it is used for any gauge. In this item I used a 3 of colors yarn medium #4 with 4 mm,

I am very thankful to all my weavers ,appreciating me the previous pattern .i am really very happy to see them. so, discussing about my new project (the baby jumpsuit Romper sweater). I want  to tell you it’s my project for winter season for baby new born to 3 months boys and girls top sweater with hoodie, I have a lot of fun to crochet the jacket type item, it is very easy to making .I made a beautiful hat and booties to the same pattern, I think all of you my friends like the items, i wish you also try to make it.

I instruct you about the pattern to easy way to crocheting it, to start with neckline size, i hope you can easily to change the size for others large or small as you want to make add more chains into the neck line then follow the same work as we done, follow the pattern by watching video tutorial for more help. I am telling you that I used the crochet needle for the sewing ,I think it is the best way to  crochet the baby sweaters In this pattern I used the (half double crochet , complete the chest part then make legs sections. then add the hooded for the baby romper sweater.

instructions: For this baby romper jumpsuit we used a dk weight /baby weight acrylic yarn with 3.5mm (E) size hook. For large size you can use a larger size hook, 2^nd way you can add more chains into neckline, then you can follow this project of all sizes you want to make for little ones. We add a very simple and easy half double crochet stitch, used different colors, you and chose any of colors for this jumpsuit pattern. 

Item to be need:

 350 grams DK weight 4ply(16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

Crochet needle

Matching Buttons

Hook size. 4mm

Size: Baby size 0-3 months

Gauge 4hdc x 3 rows = 1 inches

finished size:

length from neckline :16 inches

chest size: 16-18 inches

Sleeves from under arm : 5 inches

Baby Jumpsuit Pattern:

Size 0-3 months:

Make chains 52.

Round1- make 1 hdc into 3^rd ch, then make 1hdc in each ch across to end, turn work.

Round2- ch1 does not count; make 1 hdc into same st into back loop, then make 1 hdc in each

Next 6 sts into back loop(Front), make corner (hdc,ch1,hdc) into next st back loop, then make

1 hdc in each Next 7 sts back loop(shoulder), make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into next st back loop,

Make 1 hdc in each st into 18 sts back loop(Back), make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into next st 

back loop, then make 1 hdc in each Next 7 sts back loop(2^nd shoulder), make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) 

into next st back loop, make 1 hdc in each next 7 sts into back loop(2^nd Front), turn work.

Round3-ch1 does not count, make 1 hdc into same st back loop, make 1 hdc in each next 

7 sts(Front),Make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into middle space of corner, make 1hdc in each next 9 sts

 into back loop(Shoulder) Make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into middle space of corner, make 1hdc

 in each next 20 sts into back loop(Back) Make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into middle space of corner,

 make 1hdc in each next9 sts into back loop(2^nd Shoulder) Make corner(hdc,ch1,hdc) into middle 

space of corner, make 1 hdc in each next 8 sts into back loop(2^nd Front), turn work.

Round4-10- do and follow the same work as we done in Round3.

Measurement: 10 rounds =4 inches/10 cm, chest size 22 cm.

Now in next round 11 we are going to divide stitches for sleeves.

Change color B:

Round11- ch1 does not count, make 1 hdc into same st into back loop, then make 1 hdc in each

St back loop across at front to corner, make 1 hdc into middle of corner space, skip/miss sleeves

Stitches, then make 1 hdc into next next middle of corner space, then continue make 1 hdc in each

Back loop across into back side to next corner, make 1 hdc into middle of corner space, skip/miss

2^nd sleeves stitches then make 1 hdc into next corner space; make 1 hdc in each st into back loop 

for 2^nd front sts, turn work.

Round12- ch1, does not count, make 1 hdc into same st into back loop, then make 1 hdc into

 back loop Across in each st into front and back, turn work.

Change color A:

Round13-14: do and follow the same work as we done in round 12.

Change color C:

Round15-16: do and follow the same work as we done in round 12.

Change color A:

Round17-18: do and follow the same work as we done in round 12, at the end of round 18

Do sl st to join with a sl st.

Measurement from neck line 18 cm.

Now in my next round we are going to join front.

Change color B:

Round19-ch2 we count hdc, turn work, make 1 hdc in each st into back loop around, at the end

do sl st Into ch2, turn work.

Round20- ch2 we count hdc, make 1 hdc in each st into back loop around, at the end do sl st into

Into ch2, turn work.

Now we are going to divide stitches for both leg panels.36 stitches for 1^st leg panel, and 36 for

2^nd leg panel.

Change color A:

Make 1^st leg panel:

Round1- ch2 we count hdc, make 1 hdc in each st into back loop 36 sts around 1 st leg panel,

Leave 36 sts for 2^nd leg panel, do sl st into ch2, turn work.

Round2- ch2 we count hdc, make 1 hdc in each st into back loop 36 sts around, do sl st into ch2,

Turn work.

Round3-16- do and follow the same work as we done in round 2 of leg panel, turn work.

Note: Changing colors after 2 rounds.

Make cuffs of leg panel:

Round17-ch1, sc into next st into back loop, *sc together next 2 sts, 1 sc next st*, repeat

From * to * around, do sl st to join into 1^st sc.

Round18-20- ch1, make 1 sc in each st around the leg cuff, do sl st to join into 1^st sc. Fasten off

Make 2^nd leg panel:

Change color A:

Round1- join yarn into next hdc  st of 2^nd leg panel,ch2 we count hdc, make 1 hdc in each next

35 sts for 2^nd leg panel, do sl st to join into ch2, turn work.

Round2-20- do and follow the same work as we done in 1^st leg panel. Fasten off

Make sleeves X 2:

Change color B:

 Round1- join yarn into middle of under arm, ch2 we count hdc, make 1 hdc in each st into

 back loop Around the sleeve opening, do sl st to join into ch2, turn work.

Round2- ch2, make 1 hdc in each st into back loop around the sleeve, do sl st to join into ch2, 

turn work.

Change color A:

Round3-14- do and follow the same work as we done in round 2 of sleeve, turn work.

Note: Changing colors after 2 rounds.

Make cuff of sleeve:

Round15-18- ch1, make 1 sc in each st around the cuffs of sleeve, do sl st to join into 1^st sc.

Fasten off

Make Hooded Sweater:

Change Color C:

Round1- join yarn into corner of neck line,ch1, make 1 hdc in each st around neck line, turn work.

Round2- ch1, make hdc into same st into back loop, the make 1 hdc in each st into back loop 

across, Turn work.

Change color A:

Round3-15: do and follow the same work as we done in Round2 of hood, turn work.

Note: Changing colors after 2 rounds.

Sew and join the opening of hood.

Work: do slip stitch in each st across to end both sts together of hood sts, fasten off

 Make font band/border:

Change color A

Round1- join yarn at front opening,ch1, make 1 sc in each st into edging of front opening,

Then across 1sc into hood, then across 1sc into 2^nd side of edging front, turn work.

Round2- ch1,* make 1 sc in each next 6 sts, make button hole next ch1, skip next st*,repeat

From * to * 4 times, the make 1 sc across in each st around hood, then across other side front,

Turn work.

Round3- ch1, make 1 sc across in each st , then make 1 sc across into hood sts, the across into

2^nd side front,*make 1 sc  into button chain- space, then make 1 sc in each next 6 sts*, repeat

From * to * across 4 times, then finish of band.

Finishing: sew button at front band other side. Fasten off and weaves all ends.
