Item to be need:

(Baby DK double knit Acrylic yarn ply (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

 Crochet hook size E/4 or 3.5 mm hook

Button

 Size:      12-18 month’s baby

Gauge:  5dc x 2.5 rows = 1 inch

 Pattern for gauge:  

Length from shoulder =18 inches

Chest size =22 inches

 Special stitch:

1.       Do stitch marker corner of chest

2.       Ch1 not count

3.       Check out the size of chest then work skirt

US Terms Abbreviation

·         C     crochet

·         Ch   chains

·         Sc    single crochet

·         Hdc  half double crochet

·         Dc    double crochet

·         Sts    stitches

·         St      stitch

·         Sl st   slip stitch

·         Fp      front post

·         Bp      back post

Special Stitch- Shell( 6 double crochet into same space)

Corner v-st (1 double crochet, ch 1, 1 double crochet into same st)

Baby Dress Pattern:

Make chains 100,do sl st into 1^st ch to join. Make a circle.

Round1. Ch3 we count 1^st dc, make 1 dc in each ch across,

do sl st to join into 3^rd ch.(100)

Round2. Ch1 not count, make 1 front post around 1^st dc, *make back post around 

next Dc, front post around next dc*, repeat from * to * around, do sl st to join into 

1^st dc.(100)

Round 3-4. Ch1 not count, *make front post around front post, and back post around

back post*, repeat from * to * around. do sl st to join into 1^st dc.(100)

Add the pattern.

Pattern Round1. Ch1 not count, make 1 sc into same st, *skip next 2 sts,ch1, make

shell (6dc) Into next st, ch1,skip next 2 sts, make 1 sc into next st*,

repeat from * to * around, Do sl st into 1^st st.

Pattern Round2. Ch4, *make back post into next 3 dc of shell, ch2, make back post

Into next 3 dc of shell, ch1*, repeat from * to * around, Do sl st into 1^st st.

Pattern Round3.ch1 not count, make 1 sc into same st, *ch1, make shell (6dc) 

into next Ch2 space, ch1, makes 1 sc into next ch-space*, repeat from *to * around,

Do sl st into sc.

Round4-12. Do and follow the same pattern as we done in pattern Round 2

And Pattern Round 3.

Change colour.

Round13. ch1 not count, make 1 sc into same st, *ch1, make shell (8 dc) into next

Ch2 space, ch1, makes 1 sc into next ch-space*, repeat from *to * around,

Do sl st into sc.

Round14. Ch4, *make back post into next 4 dc of shell, ch2, make back post

Into next 4 dc of shell, ch1*, repeat from * to * around, Do sl st into 1^st st.

Round15-20 Do and follow the same pattern as we done in pattern Round 13

And Pattern Round 14.

Round21. ch1 not count, make 1 sc into same st, *ch 2, make shell (9 dc) into next

Ch2 space, ch 2, makes 1 sc into next ch-space*, repeat from *to * around,

Do sl st into sc. Fasten off

Make chest of dress.

Stitch mark 41 stitches of band into 1 st round ch,s.

Round1. Join yarn into marked st, ch1, make front post and back post in each 5 sts,

*skip next 2 sts, make 1 sc into next st, skip next 2 sts, make shell(6dc) into next st,

Skip next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * across 4 more times, at the end last 5 sts make 1

Front post and 1 back post across to next marked st, make 1 hdc into last st, turn work.

Round2. Ch1 not count, make 1 hdc into same st, make front post into front post, and

Back post into back post across into 5 sts, working into shell, *make front post into 3 sts

Of shell, ch2, make front post into next 3 sts of shell, ch1* repeat from * to * across

4 more times, at the end last 5 sts make 1 Front post into front post and back post into

Back post across, make 1 hdc into last st, turn work.

Round3. Ch1 not cunt, make hdc into same st, make front post into front post and back

Post into back post , * make shell(6dc) into next ch2 space of shell, make 1 sc into next

Space of both shell*, repeat from * to * across 4 more times, at the end last 5 sts

make 1 Front post into front post and back post into Back post across, make 1 hdc

into last st, turn work.

Round4-10. Do and follow the same work as we done on the chest in

(Round 2 and Round3).

Round11. Ch1 not count, make hdc into same st, make front post into front post, and

Back post into back post in each st across to end, make 1 hdc into last st, turn work.

Round12-13. Ch1, make hdc into same st, make front post and back post across

To end, make 1 hdc into last st. fasten off

Make button straps for shoulder into back side.

Work. Leave 10 sts from the chest front last st, join yarn. Ch1not count makes hdc 

into Same st, into next 5sts work and make front post next front post and back post

 into Back post, repeat into 5 sts, make hdc into last st, turn work.

Round2, ch1, hdc into same st, make front post into front post and back post into

Back post across into 5 sts, mae 1 hdc into next st, turn work.

Continue Round 2 till the desire length or (8 inches long) of button strap for shoulder.

Fasten off.

Sew buttons on front.
