Instructions:  We worked For Little Baby Girls 6-12 months size stylish crochet baby hoodie cardigan jacket. the pattern is so simple and easy, hope you can easily to change the size as you want to make larger and smaller, we explain in details about the sizes 0-3 months /6-12 months more explain for adult sizes, explain patterns in my video tutorial below.. We add  different  colors in this coat jacket multicolor you can chose any of other colors according to your taste. for size 0-3/6-12 months We used 200-250 light DK weight wool #3 yarn with 3.5mm(E) crochet hook for the project. Size of the jacket we mention below in the pattern. This baby elegant hoodie jacket started bottom to top both Fronts and Back together, we add new stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention links. We add a beautiful super easy pattern worked together back and both fronts, then divide shoulders. hope you will like and appreciate.

changing for Sizes: you can be use smaller or larger hook to change for other sizes.

please notice: that important thing of measurement for ribbing band of jacket before starting, 

you can use any of wool and any of crochet hook size. but we mention about little measurement 

for the sizes.

0-3 Months: Back + Fronts = chains 111 (DK #3 Yarn with hook size 3.5mm (E) 

6-12 Months: Back + Fronts = chains 121 (DK #3 Yarn with hook size 3.5mm (E) 

12-24 Months: Back + Fronts = chains 121 (DK #3 Yarn with hook size 4 mm (G)

Toddler & Small Child : 

1- Child 3-5 years: Back + Fronts = chains 127 (DK #3Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

2- Child 6-8 years: Back + Fronts = chains 133 (DK #3 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

wool: Color A Yellow: 80 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches)

Color B: Aquamarine: 40 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches)

Color C White:  40 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches)

Color D Purple:  40 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches) 

Color E Blue:  40 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches)

Color F Orange:  40 Grams DK Weight  #3 yarn (20 stitches = 4 inches)

wool total used: 0-3 /6-12 months sizes DK Weight 3ply (200-250 grams) 

Crochet hook size:  3.5 mm (E) 

Buttons

 Size:      6-12 months infant Babies 

Gauge:  5dc stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Pattern for gauge:  

Jacket Length from shoulder to bottom Band: 13.5 inches/34 cm 

Jacket waist size from corner to corner 26 inches

Jacket chest measurement Back + Fronts: 22 inches/58cm

Sleeves from under arm: 9.5 inches/24cm

Special Stitch puff stitch (make 1 double crochet into same st, then make 2 dc incomplete

 around post of same Double crochet stitch)

Color A:

6-12 months sizes : Fronts + Back  make chains 121,

Make Rib band:

Work - make dc into 4^th ch from the hook, make 1 dc in each ch across to end, turn work. (119 dc)

Measurement Approx. Both Fronts + Back together: 119 dc =24 inches/61-62 cm

Change color B:

Pattern Round1- ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make

Puff st into next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (119 sts)

Pattern Round2- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end,

turn work. 119 sc)

Change color C:

Round3- Repeat and Follow Pattern Round 1.

Round4. Repeat and follow Pattern Round 2.

Change color for next 2 pattern Rounds.

Round5-21: Repeat and follow the same work as we have worked in Pattern Round1& Pattern Round2.

Change colors according to your taste for every 2 pattern Rounds if you want to like it.

Measurement Approx. 22 Rounds include rib band = 8 inches / 20 cm

Now divide stitches front, back and shoulders.

Mark 25 sts Front / leave 4 sts for shoulder, mark 61 sts Back/ leave 4 sts 2^nd shoulder,

 Mark 25 sts 2^nd front.

Make 1^st front of jacket and shoulder:

Wrong side of jacket:

Round1- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each next 24 sts across at front,

Leave next sts then turn work. (25 sc)

Change color A:

Round2- ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make Puff st into

 next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (25 sts)

Round3- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end,

turn work. 25 sc)

Change color B:

Round4-5:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color C:

Round6-7:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color D:

Round8-9:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color E:

Round10-11:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color F:

Round12-13:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color A:

Round 14: Repeat and follow Round2.

Measurement Approx. form shoulder 14 Rounds = 5.5 inches/14 cm

Make Back of jacket and shoulder:

Wrong side of jacket:

Round1- skip/leave 4 sts from the front we worked before, then join yarn into next marked st,

Make ch1 not count, sc into same st, sc in each next 21 sts, make sc 3 together next 3 sts, repeat

3 sc together 4 more times, then work sc 2 together, then continue make 1 sc in each next 22 sts

Back marked st, leave next sts, then turn work. (50 sc)

Change color A:

Round2- ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make Puff st

 Into  next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (50 sts)

Round3- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end, turn work.

Change color B:

Round4-5:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Back part.

Change color C:

Round2- ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make Puff st

 Into next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (25 sts)

Round3- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end,

turn work. 25 sc)

Change color B:

Round4-5:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color C:

Round6-7:  Repeat and follow Round2 & Round3 as we have worked in Front.

Change color D:

Measurement Approx. form shoulder 14 Rounds = 5.5 inches/14 cm

Sewing: Sew shoulder seems together, work slip st to join the shudders front to back right

Make hood of jacket:

Color A:

Round1- wrong side of jacket into front corner st to join yarn again, ch1 not count, make sc into

Same st, then make 1 sc in each st across front, then sc in each st across back side, then sc in 

each St across 2^nd front to corner, then turn work.(81 sc)

Round2: ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make

Puff st into next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (81 sts)

Round3: ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end,

turn work. 81 sc)

Round4- 24: Repeat and Follow the same work Round 2 and Round 3 of hood section.

Measurement Approx. form neckline 24 Rounds = 8 inches/20 cm

Sewing: Sew the hood top to join. Fold the hood right side facing together, and then sew 

with a slip st. Slip st in each both sts together, across to end. Fasten off

Make Jacket Button Band:

Color A:

Right side facing of jacket working into front edging around:

Work: join yarn into corner st of front, ch1 not count make sc into same st, skip next space,

*Make shell 5 dc into next space, skip next space, make 1 sc into next space*, repeat from * to *

Across the front , then across the hood front edging , then across 2^nd front edging to end, sl st.

Fasten off

Make Sleeves x 2:

Make Rib band:

Color A:

Make chains 36.

Round1- sc into 2^nd ch from the hook, make 1 sc in each ch across to end, turn work. (35 sc)

Round2- ch1 not count, make 1 sc into same st, 1 sc in each st across to end, turn work. (35 sc)

Round3-5: Repeat and Follow the same work we have done in Round2 of sleeve cuff band.

Fasten off the band then add the pattern.

Change color B:

Pattern Round1- ch1 not count, make a puff st into same st (see Special st), *skip next st, make

Puff st into next st*, repeat from * to * across to end, make dc into last st, turn work. (25 sts)

Pattern Round2- ch1 not count, make sc into same st, make 1 sc in each st across to end,

turn work. 25 sc)

Change color C:

Round3-4: Repeat and follow the same work as we worked in Pattern Round1& Pattern Round2.

Change color D:

Round5: Repeat and follow Pattern Round1.

Increasing round.

Round6: ch1, 2 sc into same st, 1 sc in each st across to end, 2 sc into last st, turn work.(37 sc)

Change color E:

Round7-8: Repeat and follow Pattern Round1& Pattern Round2.(37 sts)

Change color F:

Round9-10: Repeat and follow Pattern Round1& Pattern Round2.(37 sts)

Change color A:

Round11: Repeat and follow Pattern Round1.(37 sts)

Increasing Round.

Round12 : ch1, 2 sc into same st, 1 sc in each st across to end, 2 sc into last st, turn work.(39 sc)

Measurement Approx. include Rib band = 9.5 inches/24cm

Sewing: count sts of sleeve mark  middle st  of sleeve to shoulder of jacket middle st,

to Sew the sleeve to arm of jacket, right side facing together, marked together both

Sleeve shoulder to arm hole of jacket, the use whip st for sewing.

after that sew the side of sleeve into wrong side. Fasten off
