i made the hat and gloves with same pattern for ladies girls adult medium size, beautiful pattern for winter season for adult sizes 

you can easily to change sizes as you want to make, we explain below in the pattern for all sizes and also share in my video tutorial. use DK Weight #3 yarn with 3.5mm(E) hook size. we mention about details in inches about the pattern from start with rib band for both pattern gloves and hat. you can make it easy for all sizes as you want.

 Items to be need:

Adult Medium size Hat and Gloves 

100 grams #3 Yarn Peach Light DK weight (3ply wool- 5 double crochet = 1 inch)

Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E 4)

 Size:  Ladies /Girls Small/Medium Size/ Large size

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 row = 1 inch

Height of Hat : 8-9 inches/20 cm

Head circumference Adult woman medium size: 18-20 inches/ 46-48 cm

Special stitch(cable Stitch: skip 3 sts , make treble crochet in each next 3 sts, then make treble crochet in each 3 stitches over of the 3 treble sts into the skipped 3 sts, we have 6 sts treble crochet for cable pattern.

Make Rib band:

Make chains 22,

Row 1- dc into 4^th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across, turn work.(20 dc)

Row 2- ch1 not count, make dc in each st into back loop 20 sts across, turn work.

(20 dc)

Row 3- 44: Repeat and follow Round2 of Band.

small size: 42 Rounds = 17 inches ,

Medium size:  44 Rounds= 18 inches,

Large size: 46 Rounds = 19 inches  

Repeat Round 2 until you have 43 Rows or until the Rib Band to fits your

Head circumference.

 For medium size I recommend 18-20 inches /46-48 cm in circumference for

 woman and girls.

Sew and join the Rib band together starting chains sts and the last round 16 sts,

 do slip st in each 22 sts both together, then finish the rib band.

Starting with the Hat Pattern will crochet in rounds.

Round1- Round1- ch1 not count, *make 1 dc in each next 6 sts, ch1*, 

Repeat from * to * around the Rib Band edging, slip st in the 1^st st to close the

 round, (total 12 groups of sc)

Round2- Ch1 not count, make dc in each 6 sts, ch1, skip chain space, make 

cable into next group of 6 sts See special stitch, Repeat from * to * around,

slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.(6 dc groups & 6 cable groups)

Round3- ch1 not count, make sc in each 6 sts, *ch1, skip chain space, make 1 sc 

in each next Cable 6 sts*, repeat from * to * around, slip st in the 1^st st to close

 the round, (12 groups)

Round4- 15: Repeat and follow Round 2 & Round 3.

fold the Rib band in half and check the height of hat.

Measurement Approx. include Rib band. 6.5 inches/17 cm

Now from Round 16 start the hat stiches to decrease.

Round16- ch1 not count, *dc 2 together, 1 dc in each next 2 sts, dc 2 together,

ch1, skip chain space, make cable into next group of 6 sts*, Repeat from * to *

 around, slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.

Round17- ch1 not count, *sc 1st st, sc 2 together next one time, sc into next st,

ch 1, skip chain space, next group of cable 6 sts make sc 2 together, 1 sc in each

next 2 sts, sc 2 together*, Repeat from * to * around, slip st in the 1^st st to close

 the round.

Round18- ch1 not count, * make dc into next st, dc 2 together next, ch1, 

skip chain space, make cable into next group of 4 sts(skip 2 sts, treble crochet in 

each next 2 sts, then make treble crochet in each st into skipped sts)*,Repeat

 from * to * around, slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.

Round19- ch1, *sc into same st, sc next st, ch1, skip chain space, next group of 

cable 4 sts, make sc 2 together repeat 2 times*, Repeat from * to * around, 

slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.

Round20- ch1 not count, *dc 2 together, ch1, skip chain space, make cable into

next group of 2 sts(skip 1 st, treble crochet into next st, then make treble crochet 

into skipped st,*Repeat from * to * around, slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.

Round21- ch1 not count, *sc 2 together, sc into next st*, Repeat from * to * around, 

slip st in the 1^st st to close the round.

fasten off and sew the top opening with a piece of yarn and needle, use whip

stitch around, weave ends inside of hat.
