Beautiful Lacy Bolero Jacket/Summer Shrug for Girls

Item to be need:

100-150 Grams Light DK Weight  #3 yarn (5 stitches and 2.5 Rows = 1 inches)

Crochet hook: 3.5mm(E) Hook size

 Size:   0-3 months/ 6-12 months/12-24 months & 2-4 years

Gauge: 5 Double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch 

 Pattern for gauge:  

Length from shoulder = 16-17 inches/ 43 cm

Chest size = 22 inches

0-3 month’s size: Repeat and follow 7 increasing Rounds Pentagon shape.

6-12 month’s size: Repeat and follow 8 increasing Rounds pentagon shape,

12-18 month’s size: Repeat and follow 9 increasing Rounds pentagon shape.

12-24 month’s size: Repeat and follow 10 increasing Rounds pentagon shape.

2-4 years size: Repeat and follow 12 increasing Rounds pentagon shape.

4-6 years size: Repeat and follow 14 increasing Rounds pentagon shape.

Make Bolero Jacket Back Pentagon crochet Motif :

Make chains 5, slip st to join into 1^st ch to make circle,

Now working into circle.

Round1- ch3 we count dc, make dc same space, * ch2, 2dc*, repeat 4 more times from * to * 

around,ch2, sl st into beginning 3^rd ch, slip st next dc st, slip st next ch2- space.( 5 corner pentagon)

Round2- make corner into same space, ch3 we count dc, dc, ch2, 2dc,*ch2, make corner into

Next ch2-space (2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, repeat 3 more times from * to * around, ch2, sl st into beginning 

3^rd ch, slip st next dc st, slip st next ch2- space of corner.

Round3- make corner into same space, ch3 we count dc, dc, ch2, 2dc,*ch2, 2dc into next 

ch2- space,ch2, make corner into next middle of corner (2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, repeat 4 more times

 from * to * around, ch2, sl st into beginning 3^rd ch, slip st next dc st, 

slip st next ch2- space of corner.

Make Armhole:

Round11- make corner into same space,ch3 we count dc, dc , ch2, 2dc,*make 1 dc in each st 

across until next corner, make corner into middle of corner (2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, make chains 40 for 

armhole, skip one side Of pentagon for top shoulder part, make shell into middle of next shell

(2dc, ch2, 2dc), repeat * to *across next 2 sides of pentagon, then make chains 40 for 2^nd arm hole, 

skip a side of pentagon , do slip st to join into 3^rd ch, slip st next dc st,

 slip st next ch2- space of corner.

Round12- make corner into same space, ch3 we count dc, dc , ch2, 2dc,*make 1 dc in each st 

across until next corner, make corner into middle of corner (2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, make 1 dc in each 

next 40 chains armhole, make corner into middle of corner (2dc, ch2, 2dc), repeat * to * to more 

times next 2 sides of pentagon, then make 1 dc in each 40 chains across, do slip st into 3^rd ch, 

slip st next dc st, slip st next Ch2- space of corner.

Make lace around jacket:

Change color :

Round1- make corner into middle of corner, ch3 count dc, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc, * chains 5, skip next 

5 sts, make shell into next st( 3dc, ch2, 3dc)*, repeat from * to * across till the end of the round,

do slip st into 3^rd ch, slip st into next 2 dc sts, slip st next middle of corner.

Round2- make corner into middle of corner, ch3 count dc, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc,*, ch 2, make sc into next

Middle of ch 5- space, ch2, make shell into next middle of shell(3dc, ch2, 3dc)*, repeat  from * to *

Across till the end of the round, do slip st into 3^rd ch, slip st into next 2 dc sts slip st next middle

of corner.

Change main color:

Round3- make corner into middle of corner, ch3 count dc, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc, * chains 5, Make shell

Change color:

Round 5-6: Repeat and follow Round 3 & Round 4 lacy pattern.

Change color:

Round7-8: Repeat and follow Round 3 & Round 4 lacy pattern.

Fasten off for large size repeat more rounds. Then finish off

Make Lace tie x 2 of jacket:

Work: make chains 55, do slip st into 5^th ch from the hook make a small circle, now make flower

 into middle of circle(sc, 3dc, sc) repeat 5 times into circle. Sew on the front of neck both side to

 finish the jacket.
