Item to be need:

80 Grams Wool Double knit Weight #4 yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)

Crochet hook: 4mm or US(G-6 Hook)

Size: 0-3 months/ 6-12 months/ 12-24 months

Toddler & Small child 1 to 5 years

And for Teen Adult Small Sizes

Gauge of pattern: (4 Double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch)

Crochet Brim Cap/Hat pattern

0-3 Months (Hat Circumference = 12-13 inches //Height hat = 4.5 inches (11-12 cm)

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.

Chains 4, do slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle, or make a magic circle.

Round1. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 12 dc into circle, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(12 dc)

Round2. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(24 dc)

Round3. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc next st,*2 dc into next st, 1dc

into next st*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(36 dc)

Round4. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 2 sts,*2 dc into

next st,1dc in each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(48 dc)

Change color:

Round5- ch1 don’t count, *skip next dc, make 1 sc,1 hdc into next st *,repeat from * to * around,

Round6: ch2 we don’t count as stitch,* make dc in each st around, slip st to join into 1^st dc.

Make Brim:

Front Marked 14 stitches for the brim.

Change Main color:

Row1- join yarn into mark st start work from right to left, ch1, make sc in each next 13 sts,

Make slip st into next marked st, turn work.

Row2-ch1 don’t count, make 2 sc into same slip st, make 1 sc into 1^st st, 2 sc into next st,

*make sc in each 4 sts, 2 sc into next st*, repeat 1 more time * to *, make sc into next st,

2 sc into base of ch, make slip st into next dc st, turn work.

Row3- ch1 don’t count, *, make 2 sc into next st, 1 sc into next 2 sts*, repeat 1 more time * to*,

6-12 Months (Hat Circumference = 14-15 inches// Height hat = 5 inches
