instructions:  we are using  Dk Weight yarn with 4mm(G) hook, easy to change in other sizes the hat, I always try to explain about the gauge in my pattern to the stitches and Rows that you can easy to learn and follow the pattern and can be easily to change the sizes as you want to make. for more help watch video tutorial, or comment me to the comment box. i will help as soon as possible.

Item to be need:

wool: 3 colors same DK Weight Acrylic 4 ply yarn (4dc X 2 Rows = 1 inch)

color A: pink

color B yellow

color C: blue

Crochet hook size 4mm (G)

Size:      Baby 6-12 months

Gauge:  4 dc x 2 rows = 1 inch

 Pattern for gauge:  

4 double crochet x 2 Rounds = 1 inch

3 D Heart Stitch 

size of hat from top to bottom: 6 and 1/2 inches

circumference of hat : 16-17 inches

·         Ch   chains

·         st     stitch

·         Sc    single crochet

·         Hdc  half double crochet

·         Dc    double crochet

·         trb    treble crochet

           FP      front post

           BP      back post

CROCHET 3D HEART STITCH BABY BEANIE CAP PATTERN:

Color A:

6-12 months size make chains 72, do slip stitch to join into 1^st  ch.

Round1- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each ch around, do sl st to join into beginning 3^rd ch. (72)

Round2- ch1 not count, *make FP in each next 2 sts, and BP in each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to *

Around, do sl st to join into Fp dc. (72)

Round3- ch1 not count, * make FP in each next 2 FP sts, and BP in each next 2 BP sts*, repeat

From * to * around, do sl st to join into FP dc. (72)

Make 3D Heart Pattern:

SPECIAL ST- 3D HEART (make a 3D Heart (ch5, sl st into 2^nd ch, Sl st in each next 3 ch, 

and working into slip stitches we worked, Make sc into next st, hdc into next  st, dc into next st,

 3 treble crochet into next st, ch4 and sl st into same st, Make again ch4, and sl st into same st,

 make 3 treble crochet into same st, then work opposite side of that sts, make dc into next st, hdc

  into next st, sc into next st, and join the 3D heart with a sl st into top of the dc)

Color B:

Round1- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each next 5 sts, make a 3D heart see special stitch of 3D heart,

join the heart with a sl st into top of 6th dc we worked in the round, continue * make 1 dc in each next

12 sts, make a 3D Heart see special st of 3D heart, and join 3D heart with a sl st into top of 12^th dc we

 Worked in the round*, repeat from * to * around, at the end make 1 dc in each next 6 sts,

do sl st to join into 3^rd ch. (72 dc+ 6 3D hearts)

Round2- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each st around, do sl st into 3^rd ch. (72)

Color C:

Round3- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each next 5 sts, join 3D heart into wrong side with a sl st,

Continue*make 1 dc in each next 6 sts, make a 3D Heart see special st of 3D heart, then join 3D heart

Into dc st we worked in the round, then continue Make 1 dc in each next 6 sts, then join the previous 3D

 heart into wrong side with a sl st*, repeat from * to * around, at the end make 1 dc in each next

6 sts, do sl st to join into 3^rd ch. (72 dc+ 6 3D hearts)

Round4- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each st around, do sl st into 3^rd ch. (72)

Color A:

Round5- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each next 5 sts, make a 3D heart see special stitch of 3D heart,

join the heart with a sl st into top of 6th dc we worked in the round, *continue make 1 dc in each next

6 sts,  then join the previous 3D heart into wrong side with a sl st, continue make 1 dc in each next 6 sts,

Then make a 3D heart see special stitch of 3D heart, join the heart with a sl st into top of 6^th dc we

Worked in the round*, repeat from * to * around, do sl st into 3^rd ch. (72 dc+ 6 3D hearts)

Round6- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each st around, do sl st into 3^rd ch. (72)

Round7- ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each next 5 sts, then join the previous 3D heart into wrong side

with a sl st, *continue make 1 dc in each next 12 sts, then join the previous 3D heart into wrong side

with a sl st*, repeat from * to * around, do sl st into 3^rd ch.(72 dc)

Now we are going to decrease stitches.

Round8- ch3 we count dc,* make 2 dc together next 2 sts, make 1 dc into next st*, repeat from * to *

Around, do sl st to join into 3^rd ch.

Round9-10-11- do and follow the same work as we done in Round 8 of hat.

Round12- ch1- *sc together next, 1 sc into next st*, repeat from * to around, do sl st.

Fasten off and close the top opening with needle and yarn piece, use whip st for sewing.
