Items to be need:

 Double Knitting  wool #4 (4ply- 4 dc stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inches 

 Crochet hook size: 4 mm US (G) Hook 

 Size table mat:   Length 26-28 inches/ 66-67 cm

Width table mat: 20 -22 inches/ 54- 56 cm

Gauge:  4 dc x 2 Rows = 1 inch

Make Heart Granny Square:

Color B:

Make magic circle or make chains 5, slip st to join into 1^st ch to make small circle.

Row1- ch3 count dc, 2dc, *ch2, 3dc*, repeat * to * 2 more times, at the end ch2, Slip st to

join into beginning 3^rd ch, slip st in each next 2 dc sts, slip st into next middle of ch2-space. (4 corners)

Note: Every row start into middle of corner.

Row2-make corner into same middle of corner space (ch3 count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc), *ch1, make

corner into next middle ch2-space of corner (3dc, ch2, 3c)*, repeat * to * 2 more times, at the

end ch2, Slip st to join into beginning 3^rd ch, slip st in each next 2 dc sts, slip st into next middle of

ch2-space. (4 corners)

Color A:

Row3- make 1^st corner into same middle of corner space (ch3 count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc),

Change color B, make ch1, 3dc into next middle ch-space, ch1, make 2nd corner into next middle 

of corner (3dc, ch2, 3dc), change color A, make 3dc into next ch-space, change color B, make

Ch1, make 3rd corner into next middle of corner (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch1, 3dc into next middle of 

ch-space, Change color A, ch1, make 4^th corner into next middle of corner (3dc, ch2, 3dc), 

change color B, make ch1, 3dc into next middle of ch-space, change color A, ch1, slip st to join 

into beginning 3^rd ch. slip st in each next 2 dc sts, slip st into next middle of ch2-space.

Row4- make corner into same middle of corner space (ch3 count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc), * ch1, 3dc

 into next Ch-space, ch1, 3dc into next ch-space, ch1, make corner into next middle of corner

(3dc, ch2, 3dc)*, Repeat * to * around, at the end ch1, slip st into beginning 3^rd ch, slip st in 

each next 2 dc sts, Slip st into next middle of corner.

Row5- make corner into same middle of corner space (ch3 count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc), *ch1, 3dc

into next Ch-space, ch1, 3dc into next ch-space, ch1, 3dc into next ch-space, make corner into 

next middle of corner(3dc, ch2, 3dc)*, Repeat * to * around, at the end ch1, slip st into beginning 

3^rd ch, slip st in each next 2 dc sts, Slip st into next middle of corner.

Note: Make more granny heart squares and simple join into wrong side; do slip st in each st from one corner

Till end of corner.

Make Table Mat:

Note: every Row start into middle of corner.

Row1- make corner into same middle of corner space (ch3 count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc),* ch1, 3dc in 

each Ch-space across till the next corner, then make corner into middle of corner space 

(3dc, ch2, 3dc)*, Repeat * to * across till the end. Make ch1; do slip st to join into beginning 

3^rd ch, slip st in each next 2 dc sts, slip st into next middle space of corner.

Row2-3: Repeat and follow Row 1 of table mat.

Change color B:

Row4-5: Repeat and follow Row 1 of table mat.

Change color A:

Row6-9: Repeat and follow Row 1 of table mat.

Fasten off or repeat more rows for bigger size table mat.

Make Edging Lace:

Change color B:

Start into middle of corner space.

Row1- ch1 not count, make sc into same space, *ch3, skip 3dc sts make sc into next ch-space*, 

repeat From * to * till the end of the row, make ch3, make slip st to join into beginning sc, 

slip st into next ch,.

Row2- make sc into middle ch of 3, * make ch3, sc into next group of chains 3 middle ch *, repeat

From * to * till the end of he row, make ch3, make slip st to join into beginning sc, slip into next ch.

Next round start into next middle ch-space.

Row3- make sc into middle of ch3-space, **make long dc, ch2, sc into post of dc*, repeat

 5 times * to* Into same ch3-space*, make sc into next ch3-space*, repeat from * to * till end of 

the row. Fasten off
