You might be wondering how you crochet a doily. Of course, there are many different ways to do it. That’s the fun part of crochet doily patterns! Each design brings something unique to the table. Most doily patterns are worked in the round. Items to be need:

 Light DK weight  wool( #3ply) 5 dc stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inches 

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E) Hook 

 Size:    medium circular Doily

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

Circular  Crochet Doily Free Pattern:

Make chains 5, do slip st to join into ch1, to make a small circle.

Round1- ch3 count dc, *ch1, dc*, repeat * to * 8 times, do slip st into 3rd ch.

 ( 8 dc + 8 chains)

Round2- ch3 count dc, dc into same st, * ch1, 2dc into dc st*, repeat * to * around, 

Do slip st into 3rd ch.

Round3- ch3 count dc, 2 dc next st, * ch1, 1 dc next st, 2 dc into next st*, repeat * to *

 around, Do slip st to join into 3rd ch.

Round4- ch3 count dc, dc into same st, 1 dc next st, 2 dc next st, * ch1, 2 dc next st, 1 dc

 next st, 2 dc into next st*, repeat * to * around, do slip st to join into 3rd ch.

Round5- ch3 count dc, dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 3 sts , 2 dc next st, * ch1, 2 dc next st, 1 dc

Change color B:

Make edging lace around the circular table mat.

Round1- rejoin color b into middle st of dc, ch1 not count, sc into same st, *skip dc st , skip next

ch-space, Skip next 2 dc sts, make chains 5, sc into next chain space, make chains 5, skip next 2 dc,

skip next ch-space, skip next 2 dc, make sc next ch-space*, repeat * to * around, do slip st to join

into sc st. we have 32 chain spaces.

Round2-  next round start into middle of ch 5 space, slip st into next 2 chains, sc into middle of

Ch-space, *make chains 5, sc into next middle of ch-space*, repeat * to * around, do slip st to join

Into sc st, slip st into next 2 chains.

Round3- ch1 not count, make sc into middle of ch-space, *ch2, make shell (11 dc) into next middle

of next ch-space, Ch2, sc into next middle of ch-space*, repeat * to * around, slip st into sc st.

Round4, slip st into next ch 2, slip st next dc of shell, slip st next dc, make ch1 not count, dc into

Finishing: sew a little flower into middle of circular table mat/Doily.
