keeping babies warm without feeling bulky or restrictive. Soft baby yarns such as acrylic, cotton blends, or merino wool work especially well for this design. The pattern can be made as a pullover or an open-front cardigan, depending on preference. Sleeves and body are easily customized in length, making it a grow-with-me garment. Ribbed cuffs and hems add a polished touch while helping the sweater hold its shape.

Simple stitches like single crochet, front post double crochet puff stitch, or double crochet make the pattern easy to follow and quick to complete. This sweater is ideal for baby shower gifts, newborn photography outfits, or special handmade keepsakes. The classic raglan style suits both boys and girls, making it a versatile and gender-neutral design.
