Today topic is Crocheting Granny square Holy Book Cover pattern. so simple and easy to make for lager size and smaller. using 4 ply wool with 3.5mm (E) hook, using different colors in the holy book cover pattern, but don't worry you can use any of one or more colors to the simple and easy granny pattern. we worked and share free pattern of the pattern for holy book cover with the same video tutorial for more help and easy to understand the pattern.

so take a hook and use any of color for the pattern and make smaller or lager size holy book cover. i love to make that pattern and so happy to shar you the free pattern i hope you all like and appreciate my free idea for those friend and weavers who love to make crochet things for home decors and for kids.

Item to be need:

wool: Worsted Weight Acrylic yarn 4 yarn (4 dc X 2 Rows = 1 inch)

Crochet hook size 3.5mm (E) hook

Size: small/ medium sizes explain

Gauge: 4 dc x 2 Rows = 1 inch

Special stitch:

2. 2-Ch3 count 1st double crochet

US Terms Abbreviation

· Ch chains

· st stitch

· Sc single crochet

· Hdc half double crochet

· Dc double crochet

· trb treble crochet

· Sts Stitches

· Sl st slip stitch

Granny Square Holy book Cover Free Pattern:

Make chain 5, do slip stitch to join into 1^st ch, to make a circle.

Roun1- ch3 we count dc, make 2 dc into circle,ch2, *3dc ch2* ,repeat from * to * 3 more times

Into circle. Do sl st to join into 3^rd ch.( 4 corner square)

Change color B:

Round2- start work into ch2 of corner space, make 1^st corner ch3 count dc, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc into same

Space, ch2, make 2^nd corner into next ch-space (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, make 3^rd corner into next

Ch-space (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, make 4^th corner into next ch-space(3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, and do sl st

To join into 3^rd ch, do sl st in each next 2 dc sts, sl st into next middle of corner.

Round3- start work into corner space, make 1^st corner ch3 count dc, 2 dc, ch2, 3dc into same

Space, ch2, make 3dc into next ch2- space, make 2^nd corner into next middle of corner space

(3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, make 3dc into next ch2-sapce, ch2, make 3^rd corner into next middle of corner

Space (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, make 3dc into next ch2-space, make 4^th corner into next middle of corner

space (3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch2, make 3dc into next ch2- space, ch2, do sl st to join into 3^rd ch.

Round4- 14- Do and follow the same work as we done in Round 3.

Make smaller or larger sizes. And follow the same work.

Sewing: start joining the square, Wright side facing out, fold and take corner to corner both middle

sts, to make slip stitch, then continue make 1 sl st in each st across both sides join together,

showing in picture.

Sew the cover and leave 4^th corner, to make chain lace.

Make chain lace:

Work: join yarn into 4^th corner, to make chains 80, do sl st in each chain across to end.

Finish off make smaller or larger sizes book cover specially made for holy book.
