Today topic is my new project for winter crochet toddler girls Cardigan Coat long sleeves and pockets, we have done new design fall and winter season completed cardigan jacket with pockets full in details with step by step tutorial. i hope you will love and apperciate. explain in details in the pattern below,showing with the  same in my 

video tutorial. you can be easily to change for all sizes as you want to make for babies and girls larger or smaller. you can make with different colors according to your choice larger or smaller sizes for kids and girls also can chage for adult ladies and womans. we explain below in my pattern for all sizes as you want make, we mention about for all sizes in my video tutorial to give you most easier to understand the pattern.

instrutions: We use (Multi colors)Medium weight #4 yarn /DK weight wool 4ply with 4mm

(G-6) crochet hook for the project of cardigan sweater, Size of the caridgan jacket is 6-10 years toddlers, we mention below in the pattern more sizes. we add new and beautiful cluster stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start from top-down, we mention below about all sizes, next Project will come another super crochet patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links.

Item to be need:

we use 350-400 Grams #4 Medium Weight/DK 4 Ply (16-20 = 4 inches)

Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Size:      6-10 years toddlers

Pattern Gauge:  4 half double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Cardigan jacket length from top to bottom : 18-19 inches / 48-50 cm

cardigan jackets chest for toddler sizes 6-10 years: 28 inches 70-72 cm

sleeve length from under arm to cuffs: 14 inches/36 cm

1-2 years:   44+1= 45 chains , Hook size 4mm (G-6)

2-5 years:   52+1= 53 chains , Hook size 4mm (G-6)

6-10 years: 64+1= 65 chains , Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Round1- hdc into 2^nd ch from the hook, hdc in each next 11 sts (Front), make 3hdc into next st

3 hdc into next St corner, hdc in each next 8 sts (Sleeve), 3 hdc into next st corner, hdc in each

Round2- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each next 13 sts(Front),3 hdc in next st corner, hdc next st, make

make chains 4, skip/leave 2^nd sleeve part and make hdc into next middle of corner st, then across hdc in

each st front, turn work.

Jacket Body Sweater:

Round1- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 5 sts button band,* make hdc cluster in next 2 sts together, ch1*,

Repeat form * to * across till end, make hdc in each next 5 sts button band, turn work.

We have 57 hdc clusters

Round2-ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 5 sts button band, repeat hdc clusters

(see repeating cluster pattern), at the end make hdc in each 5 sts button band, turn work.

We have (57 hdc clusters)

Round3-4: Repeat and follow Round 2 of Jacket Body.

Round5: ch1 don’t count, hdc in next 2 sts, ch1, skip next st for buttonhole, make hdc in next

2 sts, repeat hdc cluster pattern across till end (see repeating cluster pattern), at the end make

Hdc in each 5 sts button band, turn work. We have (57 hdc clusters)

Round6-14: Repeat and follow Round 2 of jacket Body.

Round15- Repeat and follow buttonhole Round 5 of jacket Body.

Round16- Repeat and follow Round 2 of jacket Body

From under arm measurement 6.2 inches/ 16 cm

Make pockets:

Round17- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 5 sts button band, repeat hdc clusters 2 times, skip next

8 clusters, make Chains 16 for pocket, then repeat cluster pattern 37 times across till end, at the

end of the other front of Jacket make chains 16 again for pocket, skip next 8 clusters, make

clusters 2 times, then make hdc in each last 5 sts button band, turn work,

Round18- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 5 sts button band, repeat cluster pattern 2 times, then

Continue make hdc clusters 8 times in the next chains 16 we did for pocket in my previous row,

Then repeat cluster pattern across till end, at the end of other side front, work the same as we did

Other side, repeat hdc clusters 8 times in the next 16 chains we did for pocket in my previous row,

Then make cluster pattern 2 times, then make hdc in each last 5 sts button band, turn work.

Round19-24: Repeat and follow Round 2 of jacket Body.

Round25: Repeat and follow buttonhole Round 5 of jacket Body.

Round26-27: Repeat and follow Round 2 of jacket Body.

Make Jacket Bottom Border band:

Row1- ch1 don’t count hdc in each st across till end, turn work.

Row2-4: ch1 don’t count hdc in each st across till end, turn work.

Fasten off

Measurement from under arm is 12-13 inches

Make piece of pocket:

Row1- Make chains 21, hdc into 2^nd ch from the hook, then make hdc in each st across,

 turn work. (hdc20)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 20 sts, turn work. (hdc 20)

Row3-12: repeat and follow row 2 for pocket piece. Fasten off

Sewing: leave border band and sew pocket piece from down to top back of jacket same place as we did

Space for pockets. Please watch video tutorial part-2.

Make sleeves:

 Row1- wrong side of jacket we will start for sleeve under arm, into middle ch under arm join yarn, ch2,

Make hdc cluster 2 times in the corner next 4 sts, and repeat cluster pattern around the armhole, then

2 times hdc clusters in the next corner 4 sts, do slip st into ch2, turn work. ( 24 clusters)

Row2- ch2, decrease one cluster, make hdc 3 together make one cluster, then repeat cluster pattern

around, at the end decrease one cluster, make hdc 3 together make one cluster, do slip st into ch2,

turn work. (22 clusters)

Row3- ch2, Repeat cluster pattern around, slip st into ch2, turn work. (22 clusters)

Row4- 30: Repeat and follow Row 3 of sleeve.

Measurement from under arm. 13 inches

Make cuffs:

Row1- ch2, *1 hdc next st, hdc 2 together next 2 sts to decrease st*, repeat from * to * around,

Do slip st into ch2. (29 hdc )

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st around the sleeve cuff, do slip st first hdc. (29 hdc)

Row3-5: Repeat and follow Row 2 of sleeve cuff. Fasten off

Finishing: sew buttons on the other side front of jacket.
