Crochet Baby Rompers-Dungarees & Cardigan Jacket


Hello Friends and Followers! Today topic is my new project for winter crochet baby collar cardigan jacket with Romper/overall,hat and shoes, we have completed full tutorial step by step.we have done and completed 6-12 months sizes new design for cold winter season baby set, include collar Jacket with overall/onesie, hat and shoes, explain in details in the pattern below links we added,showing with the  same video tutorial. you can be easily to change for all sizes as you want to make for babies. you can make it in different colors according to your choice larger or smaller. we explain below in my pattern for all sizes as you want make, we mention about for all sizes in my video tutorial to give you most easier to understand the pattern. watch video tutorial Baby Romper - Dungarees

instrutions: We use #3 DK weight Light wool 3ply with 3.5mm(E-4) crochet hook for this baby full set, Size of the baby suit we mention below in the pattern. we add simple stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, we mention below about all sizes, next Project will come another super baby patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links.

Item to be need:

Complete baby set we used 350 Grams #3 Light Weight/DK Weight 3 Ply

Guage wool is (5 double crochet x 2.5 Rows  =1 inches)

Hook size 3.5mm OR (E-4)

Size:      6-12 months

Pattern Gauge:  5 double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 3.5mm (E-4)

coat jacket from top to bottom length: 13 inches/33-34 cm

chest size baby coat: 21-22 inches/54-56 cm

sleeve length from under arm to cuffs: 8 inches/20 cm

Romper lenght from top to down- 22 inches/ 56-58 cm

waist size 20-21 inches

legs from crotch to cuffs, 9 inches/ 23-24 cm

US Terms ABBREVIATIONS:
c.          Crochet
ch.        Chain
sc         Single crochet
hdc       Half double crochet
dc.        Double crochet
sts.       Stitches
st.         Stitch
sl st.      Slip stitches
sc tog    Single crochet 2 together
dc tog    Double crochet 2 together

Baby Romper-Dungarees 6-12 months sizes:

Color A:

Start from waist and make chains 90 = 18 inches, do slip st to join.

Round1- ch3 we count dc, make dc in each ch around, do slip st. (dc 90)

Round2- ch2 don’t count, *make dc in each 9 sts, 2 dc into next st*, repeat from * to*

Around, do slip st. (dc 100)

Change color B:

Round3- ch1 don’t count, sc in each st around, do slip st. (sc 100)

Change color A:

Round4- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, do slip st. (dc 100)

Round5- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, do slip st. (dc 100)

From Round 6- 20: Repeat and follow Round3, Round4 & Round5.

Repeat 2 dc rows in color A, and next sc row in color B.

Measurement Approx. from waist top to down, 7 inches/ 18 cm.

Now divide for legs.

1st Leg:

Color B.

Row1- ch1, sc in each 50 sts across, leave /skip next 50 sts for 2nd leg, join

Into first sc. (sc 50)

Change color A:

Row2- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, do slip st. (dc 50)

Row3- ch2 don’t count, make dc 2 together, dc in each st around, at the end make

Dc 2 together, slip st to join. (dc 48)

Change color B:

 Row4- ch1 don’t count, sc in each st around, do slip st. (sc 48)

Change color A:

Row5: Repeat and follow Round 3 of leg. (dc 46)

Row6- Repeat and follow Round 3 of leg. (dc 44)

Change color B:

Row7- ch1 don’t count, sc in each st around, do slip st. (sc 44)

Change color A:

Row8: ch2, dc in each st around, do slip st. (dc 44)

Row9- ch2, dc in each st around, do slip st. (dc 44)

From Round 10- 23: Repeat and follow Round7, Round8 & Round9 of leg.

Repeat 2 dc rows in color A, and next sc row in color B.

Measurement Approx. from division of leg 8 inches/ 20 cm.

Make cuff Band:

Color A:

Row24- ch2 don’t count, *1dc in each 2 sts, make dc 2 together next 2 sts*, repeat

From * to * around, do slip st. (dc 34)

Row25- ch1 don’t count make hdc in each st around, do slip st. (hdc 34)

Row26- ch2 don’t count, *front post dc into next st, back post dc into next st*, repeat

And follow from * to * around, do slip st. (34)

Change color B:

Row27- ch1, *front post into front post, back post into back post*, repeat and follow from * to *

around, do slip st. (34). Fasten off

2nd Leg:

Row1- 27 Repeat and follow same work as we have done in 1st leg. Fasten off

Sew the crotch opening and start work from waist to top.

Make top part pants flaps:

Color A:

Start in the waist beginning chains row.

Row1- rejoin yarn in first ch st in the waist, make ch2, *front post dc into next st,

Back post dc into next*, repeat from * to * around the waist, do slip st. (80 sts)

Row2-3:  ch2, *front post into front post, back post into back post*, repeat and follow from * to *

around, do slip st. (80).

Make Front Panel/Flap:

Now divide stitches in half 39 front panel and 39 back panel. skip 1 stitch one of the corner

in the waist baby romper and skip 1 st anther of the side.

Now start working front panel 39 sts,

Row1- rejoin yarn right side facing out in the waits of romper, marked st, ch1 don’t count,

Make Front post into same front post, *back post next back post, front post next front

post*, repeat One more time * to *, make 2 dc together next 2 sts, then make 1 dc in each

st across, at the end in the last 7 sts work 2 dc together next 2sts, then repeat * to * in the

next 5 sts, turn. (dc 37)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, *make back post into back post, front post into front post*,

Repeat * to * in the next 3 sts, make 2 dc together next 2 sts, then make 1 dc in each

st across, at the end in the last 7 sts work 2 dc together next 2sts, then repeat * to * in the

next 5 sts, turn. (dc 35)

Row3- Repeat and follow Row 2 of front panel flaps. We have 33 dc

Row4- ch2 don’t count, repeat front post and back post 2 sts of band, make dc in each

Next 23 sts, repeat front post and back post in the last 5 sts of band, turn work. (33 sts)

Row5-7: Repeat and follow Row 4 of front panel flaps.

Row8-9: ch2, don’t count, *make front post into front post and back post into back post*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, turn work. (33 sts). Fasten off

Make button straps back panel corner band both side,

Repeat 12 Rows for button straps and make front post into front post and back post into back

Post, repeat in the corner 5 sts on both side of back panel flap. Sew buttons and finish off
