Item to be need:

80 Grams Ball Double knit Weight  #4 yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)

Crochet hook: 4mm or US(G-6 Hook)

 Size:     0-3 months/ 3-6 months / 6-12 months/ 12-24 months

Toddler & Small child (1 to 5 years

Gauge:  4 Double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch

Baby Spiral Hat Free pattern:

New Born Size: ( Hat Circumference = 12-13 inches //Height hat = 5 inches

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.

Chains 4, do slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle, or make a magic circle.

Round1. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 12 dc into circle, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(12 dc)

Round2. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(24 dc)

Round3. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc next st,*2 dc into next st, 1dc

into next st*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(36 dc)

Round4. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 

2 sts,* 2 dc into next st,1dc in each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to

 join into 1^st dc.(48 dc)

Round5- ch2 we don’t count as stitch, *make Front Post into dc st, make 1 dc in

each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into Front Post.(48 sts).

Round6- ch2 we don’t count as stitch,* make front post around front post, make

 2 dc into next middle of space, skip 2 dc stitches*, repeat from * to * around, 

sl st to join into front post.(48 sts)

Round7- 10: Repeat round 6. Fasten off

Measurement Approx. from top: 4.7 inches/12 cm

Make Rib Band:

Round11: ch1 don’t count, make hdc into back loop in each st around,

 slip st to join into 1^st hdc. (48 sts)

Round12-13: Repeat round 12 for the rib band. Fasten off

 

0-3 Months  ( Hat Circumference = 13-14 inches //Height hat = 5.5-6 inches

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.
