Crochet Men's Sweater Vest Pattern// Beautiful Alpine Stitched Crochet Sweater Vest

Instructions: Alpine crocheted hat with vest sweater explain for small/medium and large men sizes we have done in the pattern and details all sizes in video tutorial. you can be easily to change the alpine stitched hat with same pattern vest sweater, we explain in details about the sizes below, more explanation about the sizes small to adult sizes, also explain about the patterns in my video tutorial. you can chose any of other colors according to your taste. We used DK weight wool #4 ply with 4mm (G) hook for the whole project. Size of the hats more details we mention below in the pattern. The hat started bottom to top, we add easy and beautiful alpine stitch for the pattern of the hat and vest sweater, it’s very easy to start, so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention links. hope you will like and appreciate.

Adult Small size Hat Hight: 8 inches

Adult Medium size Hat Hight: 8.5 inches

Adult Large size Hat Hight: 9 inches

Adult X-L size Hat Hight: 9.5 inches

changing for Sizes: you can be use smaller or larger hook to change for other sizes.

please notice: that important thing of measurement for ribbing band of Sweater before starting,

Toddler & Small Child :

1- Child 3-5 years: Rib Band Size 16 inches (DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

2- Child 6-10 years: Rib Band Size 17 inches (DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

Small size: Rib Band Size 18 inches (DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

Medium size: Rib Band Size 18.5 inches(DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

Large size: Rib Band Size 19.5 inches (DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

X- Large size: Rib Band Size 20 inches (DK #4 Yarn with hook size 4mm (G)

Make Rib Band of Hat:

Make chains 19,

Row 1- hdc into 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in each ch across, turn work.(18 hdc)

Row 2- ch1 (not count as stitch), make hdc in each st into back loop 18 sts

across, turn work.(18 hdc)

Small size: Row 3- 44: Repeat and follow Round2 of Band.

Medium size: Row 3- 46: Repeat and follow Round2 of Band.

Large size: Row 3- 48: Repeat and follow Round2 of Band.

OR follow the size chart of Rib Band:

close the band, use needle for sewing, sew and join top 18 hdc stitches to the

first chaining row 18 stitches.

Now Starting with the Hat Pattern will crochet in rounds around the rib band.

Round1- ch2(don't count as stitch), make 84 dc around the band, slip st in the

1st st to close the round. (84 sts)

Round2- ch1(don't count as stitch), make a sc in each st around, slip st in the

1st st to close the round. (84 sts)

Round3- ch2(don't count as stitch), * skip next sc and crochet 1 FP dc around

the dc below skipped sc, dc in next st* Repeat from * to * around, slip st in the 1st

st to close the round. (84 sts)

Round4- ch1(don't count as stitch), make a sc in each st around, slip st in the

1st st to close the round. (84 sts)

Round5- ch2(don't count as stitch), *dc crochet in the next sc, skip the next sc

crochet 1 FP dc around the next dc below skipped sc*, Repeat from * to * around,

slip st in the 1st st to close the round. (84 sts)

Small size: Round6- 10/ Medium size: Round6- 12/

Large size: Round6- 14: Repeat and follow the same work we have done in the

Round 3, Round 4, Round 5.

Fold the Ribbing Band in half then Measure the Hight of hat Large size

Measurement Approx. include Rib band.6.5 inches/17 cm

Round15- ch1(don't count as stitch),* 1 sc in each 6 sts, sc 2 together*,
