Item to be need:

80 Grams Ball Wool Double knit Weight  #4 yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)

Crochet hook: 4mm or US(G-6 Hook)

 Size:     New Born size/ 0-3 months/ 3-6 months / 6-12 months/ 12-24 months

Toddler & Small child 1 to 5 years

Gauge:  4 Double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch

Crystal waves Baby Bonnet:

New Born Size: (Hat Circumference = 12-13 inches //Height hat = 5 inches

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.

Chains 4, do slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle, or make a magic circle.

Round1. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 12 dc into circle, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(12 dc)

Round2. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(24 dc)

Round3. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc next st,*2 dc into next st, 1dc

into next st*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(36 dc)

Round4. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 

2 sts,* 2 dc into next st,1dc in each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to

 join into 1^st dc.(48 dc)

Change color:

Round5- skip next 6 sts, join yarn into next st, ch2 don’t count, make dc into same

 st,* skip next 2 sts, make (sc, ch2, 2dc) into next st*, repeat from * to * across, at

 the end make 1 dc, turn work.

Change main color:

Round6- ch2 don’t count, make dc into same st, * skip next dc, sc around post of next dc, ch2, 2 dc

Into ch2- space*, repeat from * to * across, dc into last dc st, turn work.

Round7- 12: Repeat Round 6. Fasten off

Measurement Approx. from top: 4.7 inches/12 cm

Make chain Lace and edging:

Work: make chains 40, then make 5 dc into 4^th ch, join the last dc st to the 3^rd ch 

to make a puff, slip st, and continue make 1 slip st in each ch across to end, then

make a sc at the edging of hat then across a sc bottom 6 sts, then make a sc other

side edging of hat across to next corner, then make chain lace into corner, chains

40, then make a puff into 4^th chain like other side we worked, then across a slip st

 in each ch to end, the repeat and make 1 sc in each st to end, then slip st to last st,

fasten off.

Make Ruffles at front: 

Change color:

Work: ch1 not count, make 4 hdc into 1^st dc st,(4 hdc in each next 2 dc, 4 hdc into

 next  Ch2-space, 4 hdc into next sc*, repeat from * to * across to end at front to the

 last dc st, fasten off
