Beautiful Adorable Baby Dress Pattern with Round Neck Top Sweater Easy

Today topic is my new project for winter crochet Baby Cardigan dress with Round neck sweater,hat and shoes for little girls 1-2 years sizes, we have done and completed full baby set for little girls new design for all seasons, in the new project include baby top sweater cardigan dress coat with shoes and hat. i hope you will love and apperciate. explain in details in the pattern below,showing step by step with the  same video tutorial. you can be easily to change for all sizes as you want to make for babies larger or smaller. you can make with different colors according to your choice larger or smaller sizes for kids. we explain below in my pattern for all sizes as you want make, we mention about for all sizes in my video tutorial to give you most easier to understand the pattern.

instrutions: We use Medium weight #4 yarn or Double Knit weight wool 4ply with 4mm(G-6) crochet hook for this baby Cardigan coat/ dress, Size of the baby caridgan dress is 1-2 years, we mention below in the pattern. we added shells stitch and front post double crochet for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, we mention below about more sizes, next Project will show you new baby patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links below and also all links in the crochet baby patterns.

Item to be need:

Baby Coat Dress we used Red (250 Grams #4 Medium Weight or DK Weight 4 Ply

 (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Baby full set Size :      1-2 years

Pattern Gauge:  4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Measurement Baby Cardigan Coat Dress: 

Length From Top to Bottom: 18 inches/46-48 cm

chest size 1-2 years: 25-26 inches/64-66 cm

0-3 months:    chains 100,Hook size 4mm (G-6)

3-4 years:      chains 112, Hook size 4mm (G-6)

5-8 years:      chains 116, Hook size 4mm (G-6)

8-12 years:    chains 120, Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Start Baby Cardigan Dress Pattern 1-2 years:

Chains 108,

We are Making from top to down the skirt,

Row1- hdc into 2^nd ch from the hook, hdc in each ch across, turn. (hdc 107)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, *chains 2, skip next 2 sts, make a sc into

Next st*, repeat from * to * across till end, sc into last st, turn. (have ch-spaces 35)

Row3- ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, *make shell (6dc) into next ch-space, make

A sc into next ch-space*, repeat form * to * across till end, make a sc last st, turn.

(we have pattern 18 shells)

Row4- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *make front post dc of next 3 sts of shell, ch2,

Make front post dc of next 3 sts of shell*, repeat form * to * in every shell across till end,

Make dc into last st, turn. (we have pattern18 shells)

Row5- ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, *ch1, make shell(6dc) into next middle of ch2-space

Of the shell, ch1, make a sc into middle space between 2 shells*, repeat from * to * across

Till end, make a sc last st, turn. (we have pattern 18 shells)

Row6-16: Repeat and follow pattern Row 4 & pattern Row 5.

Row17: ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, *ch2, make shell(6dc) into next middle of ch2-space

Of the shell, ch2, make a sc into middle space between 2 shells*, repeat from * to * across

Till end, make a sc last st, turn. (we have pattern 18 shells)

Row18- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, * ch1, make front post dc of next 3 sts of shell,

ch2, make front post dc of next 3 sts of shell, ch1*, repeat form * to * in every shell across till

end, make dc into last st, turn. (we have pattern18 shells)

Row19- Repeat and follow Pattern Row 17.

Row20- Repeat and follow pattern Row 18.

Row21- Repeat and follow pattern Row 17. Fasten off

Measurement skirt from first row to bottom 10 inches/ 25-26 cm

Make chest of dress:

Start working for chest, making neck and shoulders from down to top in the first row of skirt.

Row1-  rejoin yarn into first st, ch2 don’t count, hdc into same st, *front post dc into next hdc,

hdc into next st*, repeat from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn. (107 sts)

Row2- ch2 don’t count dc in each st across, turn.

Row3- ch2 don’t count, hdc into same st, *front post dc into next hdc, hdc into next st*,

repeat from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn.

Row4- ch2 don’t count dc in each st across, turn.

Row5- ch2 don’t count, dc in each 2 sts, *ch1, skip next st, dc in each next 3 sts*,repeat

From * to * across till end. Turn.

Divide for armhole:

Front 24 stitches, 6 armhole, 47 back,6 armhole, 24 front.

Make Front Neck & Armhole:

Mark 24 stitches and start work,

Row1- skip a st, dc into next st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each next 3 dc*, repeat * to *

4 more times, at the end, ch1, dc into last st, turn. (23 sts)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each next 3 dc*, repeat

From * to * across, turn (23 sts)

Row3- skip a st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each next 3 dc*, repeat From * to * across, at the end,

ch1, dc into last st, turn. (22 sts)

Row4- Repeat and follow Row2. (22 sts)

Row5- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (21 sts)

Row6- Repeat and follow Row2. (21 sts)

Row7- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (20 sts)

Row8- Repeat and follow Row2. (20 sts)

Row9- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (19 sts)

Row10- Repeat and follow Row2. (19 sts)

Row11- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (18 sts)

Row12- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (17 sts)

Row13- (Decrease) Repeat and follow Row 3. (16 sts). Fasten off

Measurement form division- 6-7 inches/ 16-17 cm

Make Back Neck & Armhole:

 Row1- opposite side of cardigan, for armhole skip 6 sts from the front we did before,

Rejoin yarn into next st, ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each

Next 3 dc sts*, repeat from * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (47 sts)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each

Next 3 dc sts*, repeat from * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (47 sts)

Row4- 13: Repeat and Follow Row2 back and armhole,

Measurement form division- 6-7 inches/ 16-17 cm

Make Front Neck & Armhole:

Row1- opposite side of cardigan, for armhole skip 6 sts from the back we did before,

Rejoin yarn into next st, ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *ch1, skip a ch, dc in each

Next 3 dc sts*, repeat from * to * across, at the end skip last st for neck shape,

Then turn (23 sts)

From Row 2-13 Repeat and follow same work as we did for other front neck and shoulder.

Fasten off

Sewing: opposite side sew shoulder seems together both fronts to back, use needle for Sewing.

Make button Band:

Row1- right siding facing you, rejoin yarn into first st in the corner skirt from right front,

ch1 don’t count, make sc across the edging front, then across back neck, then across

left front edging till end of corner skirt, turn.

Row2- Buttonhole Row- ch1, don’t count, sc in each 5 sts, *ch1, skip a st, sc in each

Next 8 sts*, repeat from * to * 4 more times in the front band for buttonholes, then make

Sc in each st across neck line front, then across back of neck and then across other

Front band, turn.

Row3- ch1 don’t count, sc in each st across front band, then across back of neck,

Then across other front band, sc last st. fasten off

Make Armhole edging:

Row1- join yarn into middle of armhole, ch1, make sc in each st around edging armhole,

Slip st first sc.

Row2- ch1 don’t count, make sc in each st around armhole. Slip st. fasten off

 Finishing: Sew buttons on the front band. weave all ends.
