Crochet Baby Romper & Hood Cardigan Coat jacket


Baby Romper Video Tutorial 
Hello Friends and Followers! Today topic is my new project for winter crochet Baby Romper/overall -Dungarees Pattern with Hooded cardigan coat Jacket, we have done new design for winter season,the pattern  completed baby set include Hoodie Jacket/Rompers and shoes, in my previois pattern we have completed hoodie cardigan jacket explain in details in the pattern below links we added, chose any of #4 yarn medium Weight with hook sizes 4mm/G-6 for the project we have done in the pattern.

you can be easily to change for all sizes as you want to make smaller or bigger for babies. you can make it in different colors according to your choice larger or smaller. we explain below in my pattern for all sizes as you want make, we have to do and menshion about all sizes in my video tutorial to give you most easier to understand the pattern. i hope you would like and appreciate my previous baby pattern we have done. watch on my you tube channel here the links.

instrutions: We use DK weight wool 4ply with 4mm(G-6) crochet hook for this baby full set, Size of the baby suit we mention below in the pattern. we add simple stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, we mention below about all sizes, next Project will come another super baby patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links.

Item to be need:

Complete baby set we used 400 Grams #4 Medium Weight  /Double Knit 4 Ply 

Guage is (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Size:      6-12 months

Pattern Gauge:  4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Measurement Baby Romper:

Romper length from shoulder to bottom leg cuffs :22 inches/56 cm

Pants waist size : 18 inches/46 cm

from button front flap to crotch: 11 inches/28-30 cm

from crotch to leg cuff: 9-10 inches/24-26 cm

0-3 months:   chains 66

6-12 months:   chains 70 

1-2 years:      chains 74

3-4 years:      chains 78

5-8 years:      chains 80

Free Pattern Baby Romper/Overall

Waist Ribbing:

Color A:

Make chains 70, be careful don’t twist the chain, do slip st into first ch.

Row1- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each ch around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 70)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC next dc, BP DC into next dc*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. (70)

Row3- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC into FP, and BP DC into BP*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. (70)

Row4- ch2 don’t count, * make dc in each next 6 sts, 2 dc into next st*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 80)

Color B:

Row5- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC next dc, BP DC into next dc*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. (80)

Color A:

Row6- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each st around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 80)

Row7- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each st around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 80)

Row8- 15: Repeat and follow Row5- Row6- Row7.

Measurement from top include waist rib- 7 inches/ 18 cm

Divide for Legs:

1st Leg:

Row1- ch2 don’t count, make dc in 40 dc across, leave 40 dc for 2nd leg, do slip st into first dc. (dc 40)

Color B:

Row2- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC next dc, BP DC into next dc*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. (40)

Color A:

Row3- ch2 don’t count, make dc 2 together, then make dc in each dc around, at the end make dc 2 together next, do slip st into first dc. (dc 38)

Row4- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each st around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 38)

Color B:

Row5- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC next dc, BP DC into next dc*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. (38)

Color A:

Row6- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each st around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 38)

Row7- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each st around, do slip st into first dc. (dc 38)

Row8- 15: Repeat and follow Row5- Row6- Row7.

Make leg cuff:

Row16- ch2 don’t count, *dc in each next 2 dc, make 2 dc together*, repeat form * to * around, do slip st. (dc 29\0

Row17- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st around, do slip st into first hdc. (hdc 29)

Row18- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC in each next 2 dc, BP DC into next dc*, repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC.

Row19- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC in each next 2 FP DC, BP DC into next BP DC*, repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC.

Row20- ch2 don’t count, *make FP DC in each next 2 FP DC, BP DC into next BP DC*, repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first FP DC. Fasten off

2nd Leg:

Repeat and follow the same work as we worked in the first leg.

Finish off and then make romper flaps

In the waist ribbing mark 33 stitches for front flap and 33 stitches in the back.

Front Flap:

Color A:

Row1- Right side facing you, re-join yarn into mark st, ch1 don’t count, hdc into st, *make FP DC into next FP, BP DC into next BP* Repeat from * to * one more time, make FP DC into next FP, then make dc in each 21 dc sts, then make FP DC next FP, repeat from * to * 2 more times next 4 sts, hdc into last st, turn. (we have 33 sts)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc into first st, make FP into FP, BP into BP in each next 5 sts, make 2 dc together, then make dc in each next 18 dc, make dc 2 together next, then make FP into FP, BP into BP next 5 sts, make hdc into last st, turn. (31 sts)

Row3- Repeat and follow Row 2 flap. (29 sts)

Row4- Repeat and follow Row 2 flap. (27 sts)

Row5- ch1 don’t count, hdc into first st, make FP into FP, BP into BP in each next 5 sts, make dc in each next 

15 dc, then make FP into FP, BP into BP next 5 sts, make hdc into last st, turn. (27 sts)

Row6-7: Repeat and follow Row5 flap.

Row8- ch1 don’t count, hdc into first st, make FP into FP, BP into BP in each st across, hdc into last st, turn. (27 sts)

Row9- ch1 don’t count, hdc into first st, make FP into FP, BP into BP in each st across, hdc into last st, turn. (27 sts)

Make Back Panel Flap:

From Row1-9 repeat and follow the same work as we have done in the front panel flap.

Then make shoulder Straps in the back panel flap on both corner.

Make Shoulder Strips:

Row1- ch1 don’t count, hdc into same st, repeat and follow in the next 5 sts FP DC into next FP, BP DC into next BP, make hdc into last st, turn. (7 sts)

Row2- 16- repeat and follow Row1 shoulder strips.

Follow the same work for other shoulder flap. Fasten off and sew buttons on both strips on the flaps.
