 350 grams #3 Light weight yarn (3ply wool- 5 double crochet = 1 inch) with

 Crochet hook size: 3mm/ D-3

Size:  Ladies Large sizes 38-40 chest 

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Length from shoulder: 24-25 inches/64cm

changing for Sizes Back Panel:

X-Small sizes 32-34 inches    = 81 chains (25 Groups)

Small sizes 34-36 inches        = 87 chains (27 Groups)

Medium sizes 36-38 inches    = 93 chains (29 Groups)

Large sizes 38-40 inches        =99 chains (31 Groups)

XLarge sizes 40-42 inches      =105 chains (33 Groups)

2 XL sizes 42-44 inches           =111 chains (35 Groups)

3 XL sizes 44-46 inches           =117 chains  (37 Groups) 


Make Woman Cardigan Jacket Large Size:

Back panel:

Make chains 99,

Row1- ch3 count, make dc into 4th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across till end,

turn work. (dc 97)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, *skip next 2 dc sts, 3 dc group in the next st*, Repeat

From * to * across, dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn. (we have 31 groups)

Row3- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn. (We have 31 groups)

Row4-39: Repeat pattern Row 3.

Measurement 39 Rows is 15 inches, 38 cm

Make Back Panel Armhole:

Row1- slip st in the next 6 dc sts, make ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the

next space between 2 groups*, Repeat from * to * across, we left 7 sts, make dc in the next st,

turn. (We have 27 groups)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn. (We have 27 groups)

Roe3-20: Repeat Pattern Row 2 armhole.

Measurement from division armhole- 8 inches / 20 cm

Make Front Panel x 2:

Make chains 49,

Row1- ch3 count, make dc into 4th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across till end,

turn work. (dc 47)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, *skip next 2 dc sts, 3 dc group in the next st*, Repeat

From * to * across, dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn. (we have 14 groups)

Row3- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn. (We have 14 groups)

Row4-39: Repeat pattern Row 3.

Measurement 39 Rows is 15 inches, 38 cm

Make Right Front armhole & Neck:

Row1- slip st in the next 6 dc sts, make ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the

next space between 2 groups*, Repeat from * to * across, we left 7 sts, make dc in the next st,

turn. (We have 12 groups)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Make Left Front armhole & Neck:

Row1- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, at the end leave 2 groups 6 sts, make dc in the next, turn.

(We have 12 groups)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across, at the last space make 2 dc, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn.

Row3- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn.

Row4- ch3 we count dc, *skip 3 dc, make 3 dc group in the next space between 2 groups*,

Repeat from * to * across 11 times, skip last space, make dc in the top of 3rd ch, turn.

Row6- 20: Repeat and follow Pattern in Armhole Row 2, Row 3 & Row 4.

Measurement from division armhole- 8 inches / 20 cm

Sewing: sew and join both front panels to the back, right side facing together, sew and

Join shoulders seems together, use needle or hook for sewing, then sew side of sweater.

Make Border Lace Front Edging:

Row1- join yarn in the corner st right front panel form down to top, make ch1 not count,

Sc into same st, skip next space, *make shell 9 dc into next space front edging, make a sc

Into next space*, repeat and follow * to * across the right front panel form down to top, then

Across the neck band back panel, then across left front edging from top to down, then across

The sweater border in the bottom first row, at the end make a slip st into sc,

Row2- slip st into next dc, slip st next middle space of dc, make ch4, *make ch1, dc next space*,

Repeat from * to * 5 more times in the first shell, now Repeat and follow * to * 7 times

In every shell across till the end. Slip st into first dc of the row. Fasten off

Follow the same border lace around both armholes. Finish off

Make Tie Lace:

Work: make chains 5, slip st into first ch to make small circle.

Row: work in the circle, *make 1 sc, 4 dc, 1sc*, repeat from * to * 4 more times,

Slip st into sc, make chains 180, then make slip st into 5 ch from the hook, then

Repeat * to * 5 times into circle, slip st into sc, sc in each 175 chains across. Fasten off
