c.         crochet

sc        single crochet

hdc      half double crochet

FP dc   Front Post double crochet

 Items to be need:

 80 grams Half white DK weight Acrylic yarn  (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

 Size:  Ladies /Girls Large size 

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 row = 1 inch

Length from top to bottom : 8 and 1/2 inches

Special stitch:

 Puff Stitch (5 incomplete double crochet into same stitch together)

Make Ribbing band of Gloves:

Ladies large size Gloves makes 33 chains,

Round1- make 1 dc into 4^th ch from hook, 1 dc in each ch across to end, turn work(31 dc)

Round2- ch1, dc into same st, *make Fp dc next st,BP dc into next st*, repeat from * to*

across, make 1 dc into last st.(31 sts)

Add pattern:

Round3: ch1 not count, make 1 dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 4 sts, *ch3, skip next 2

Sts, make puff st (see Special st) into next st, make ch3, skip next 2 sts, 1 dc in each next

 5 sts*, Repeat from * to * across to end,ch3, make 1 dc into last st turn work.

Round 4: ch1 not count, make 1 dc into same st,*make puff st into Next ch-space, ch3,

 make puff st into next ch-space, make 1 dc in each next dc 5 sts*, Repeat from * to * 

across to end, make 1 dc in each last 5 dc sts, turn work.

Round5: ch1 not count, make 1 dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 4 sts,* ch3, make 

puff st into Next ch-space, ch3, then make 1 dc in each next dc 5 sts*, repeat from * to *

 across to end, ch3, 1 dc into last st, turn work.

Make edging lace:

Round1- ch1,sc into same st, *ch2, skip next 2 sts, 1 sc into next st*, repeat from * to *

across to end, sc into last st. (12 chain spaces)

Round2- ch1, sc into same st, *make shell 5 dc into next ch-space, make 1 sc into next

ch-space*, repeat from * to * across to end, sc into last st, turn work.(6 shells)

Round3- ch1 dc into same st, *make dc, ch1 repeat 5 times into shell*, repeat from

* to * across to end, dc into last st, 

sewing: work to sew the gloves side to side, fold right side facing together, then

make slip st in each st across, leave little gap for thumb space, then continue to sew

the glove side to end. fasten off
