Items to be need:

Wool: 350 Grams Light Wool 3 ply or Dk Weight Light #3 (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

Crochet hook:  3.5 mm /E-4 

Buttons

Size:      3-4 years Toddlers Gilrs

Gauge:  5 double crochet  x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Pattern for gauge:  

Length from shoulder =22-24 inches

Chest size =26 inches

Special stitch:

Do stitch marker corner of chest

Ch1 not count

Ch3 count double crochet

Check out the size of chest, then will start in the skirt

Baby frock/maxi dress free pattern3-4 years:

Color A:

Starting from chest:

3-4 years sizes make chains 132,

Row1- ch 3 count dc, dc into 4^th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across, turn. (130 dc)

Row2- ch3 count dc, *skip next 2 sts, 3 dc group in the next st*, Repeat from * to * across,

At the end make dc in top of beginning 3^rd ch, turn.

Row3- ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between

2 groups*, at the end make 3 dc group in the last space, dc in top of beginning 3^rd ch, turn.

Row4- 16: Repeat and follow Row 3 of pattern in the chest.

Now Divide stitches for armhole & Neck.

Back 29 sts, Armhole 5 sts, Front 60 sts, Armhole 5 sts, Back 29 sts.

Back Panel Neck & Shoulder:

Now working in 29 stitches,

Row1- ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between

2 groups*, Repeat and follow * to * 8 more times, at the marked 29^th dc make dc 1,

Turn. I have 9 groups of pattern.

Row2- ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between

2 groups*, at the end make 3 dc group in the last space, dc in top of beginning 3rd ch, turn.

I have 9 groups of pattern.

Row3- 12: Repeat and follow Row 2 of back panel neck and shoulder.

Measurement from division armhole 5 inches.

Front Panel Neck & Shoulder:

Row1- count from back armhole next 5 sts skip, join yarn in the next st, ch3 count dc, *skip

next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between 2 groups*, Repeat and follow * to *

19 more times, at the end marked dc make dc 1, Turn. I have 20 groups of pattern.

Row2- ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between 

2 groups*, at the end make 3 dc group in the last space, dc in top of beginning 3rd ch, 

turn. I have 20 groups of pattern.

Row3-6: Repeat and follow Row 2 of front panel neck and shoulder.

Divide stitches for neck shaping.

Make Left front shoulder:

Now working in 22 stitches,

Row7- ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between

2 groups*, Repeat and follow * to * 5 more times, skip next dc, dc in next st, turn.

I have 6 groups pattern left front shoulder.

Row8-12: Repeat and follow same work as we did in back of shoulder.

Measurement from division armhole 5 inches.

Make Right front shoulder:

Skip next 16 sts neck shaping, will start work in the next 22 sts for right front shoulder,

Row1- count and skip 16 sts from left front neck and shoulder, join yarn in the next st,

ch3 count dc, *skip next group, make 3dc group in next middle space between

2 groups*, Repeat and follow * to * 5 more times, dc in top of beginning 3rd ch, turn.

I have I have 6 groups pattern.

Row2- 6: Repeat and follow same work as we did left front shoulder. Fasten off

Sew shoulders:

Work: right side facing together, in the wrong side sew and join front to back shoulder seems

Together, make slip st in each st across, or use needle for sewing. Sew and join 

both shoulders.

Making Skirt Dress:

Color B:

Will start work from top to down, working in the chest beginning chains stitches.

Row1- Right side facing you, join yarn in the corner first chaining st from top to down,

Ch3 count dc, dc into same st, ch2, 2dc into same st, skip next 3 sts, make shell in next

St(2dc, ch2, 2dc), *skip next 3 sts, make v-st in next st (1dc, ch2, 1dc), skip next 3sts, make

shell in next St (2dc, ch2, 2dc), skip next 3 sts, make shell in next St(2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, Repeat

from * to * across, at the end make v-st (1dc, ch2, 1dc), do slip st to join in the top of beginning

3^rd ch. Slip st in next dc of shell, slip st next middle space of shell.

Row2- make shell in same space, (ch3 count dc, dc, ch2, 2dc), make shell in next middle

space Of previous shell (2dc, ch2, 2dc), *make dc in next dc of v-st, make v-st (1dc, ch2, 1dc)

in next middle Space of v-st, dc in next dc of v-st, make shell in next middle space of

Making back panel button band on both side.

Make Left Button Band:

Row1-work from down to top,  join yarn in the corner st, ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across

the back panel Edging, I have 46 hdc.

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 46)

Row3- Repeat Row of button band. Fasten off

Make Right Button Band:

Row1- work from top to down, join yarn in the corner st, ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across

the back panel Edging, I have 46 hdc.

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc in next 4 sts, *ch1, skip next st, hdc in each next 12 sts*,

Repeat from * to * across, hdc in the last st, turn.

Row3- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, slip st. fasten off

Make armhole edging:

Color B:

Work: join yarn underarm hole, ch1 don’t count, *sc into same space, ch2, 3dc post of sc, skip

Next 3dc group, sc in next space*, follow the same work * to * around, fasten off

Follow the same work around the neck. Fasten off
