Hello every one! Today we bring and share my new baby cardigan sweater coat with collar. This adorable and stylish design full set made for little girls new born to 3 months. It’s a very special gift for cute and lovely little girls for going spring season. We love and crochet baby items in the whole of the years and also shared in my own video instructions you always come here and watch my tutorial I am glad to see that you appreciated my designs and follow my work.

All my design made for beginner and for those who want to learn baby things in home Thanks so much for all your support and excitement about my previous patterns and videos’ we couldn’t do it without you! I will be adding more special design in this season free crochet pattern originally share in my blog. Hope you will be enjoying my new ideas with simple pattern and share the same videos too.

Instructions: We made this crochet baby cardigan coat/jacket for 0-3 months. We adding two of the colours in this sweater, you also add more colours in your own choice. We used light weight yarn and 3.5mm crochet hook for this cardigan jacket. Size of the length we mention in the below description. This baby Cardigan coat sleeve less pattern with pants and cap is crocheted form the neck line top to down, it’s very easy to start used a simple double crochet, v st and shell. For large size repeat some of the increasing rounds, if you need a smaller size so, you should less the increasing rounds and start the skirt. We added in new and different design in the skirt, for more help watch my video instructions.

Items to be need:

wool Two colours Baby

Colour A.100 grams Light Weight 3ply (5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

Colour B. 100 grams Light Weight 3ply (5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

Crochet hook size 3.5 mm/E-4

4 Small buttons

Crochet needle

Size to fit: 0-3 month’s Baby

Gauge: 5 double crochet & 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

Pattern for gauge:

jacket Length: top to bottom =11-12 inches

chest sizes: 20 inches

Sleeves Length from underarm- 5-6 inches

Special stitch:

1. Count stitches and do stitch marker on the same place.

2. Ch1 do not count.

3. Check out the size of the chest before starting the skirt.

4. V st. double crochet, chain2, double crochet make in same stitch

5. Shell. 5 double crochet in same space

6. Ch3 count as first dc… ch5 counts as first dc and ch2

Baby frock jacket pattern:

Make chains 50.

Round1: 1dc into 4^th ch, make 1 dc in each ch across to end, turn.(48sts)

Round2: ch 3 we count 1^st dc, 1 dc into next st, *2dc into next st, 1dc in each next 2 sts*,

repeat from * to * across to end, turn. (64)

Round3: ch3 we count 1^st dc, make 1dc in each st across to end, turn.(64 sts)

Round4-7: do and continue the same work as we done in (Round2 and Round3).(113sts)

Add the pattern:

Round8: ch 4, *skip next 2 sts, make v st (1dc, ch2,1dc) into next st, ch 1*, repeat

from * to * across to end, turn.

Round9: ch3, make shell (5dc) in each v st across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Round10: ch4, *make v st(1dc, ch2, 1dc) into middle st of shell 5dc sts,ch1*, repeat

from * to * across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Round11: ch3, make shell (5dc) in each v st across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Divide shells for armhole:

5 shells front, 7 shells armhole, 12 shells back, 7 shells 2^nd armhole, 5 shells for 2^nd front

Round12: front, ch4, make *v st(1dc, ch2, 1dc) into middle st of shell 5dc sts,ch1*,

repeat from * to * 4 more times, leave 7 shells for armhole, ch1, repeat from * to * into

next 12 shells, leave 7 shells for 2^nd armhole, then continue repeat from * to * across

into 5 shells for 2^nd front to en, make 1 dc into last st, turn work. (Total 22 v sts)

Round13: ch3, make shell (5dc) in each v st across into front and back 22 v sts to end,

make 1dc into last st, turn.

Round14: ch4, *make v st(1dc, ch2, 1dc) into middle st of shell 5dc sts,ch1*, repeat

from * to * across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Roun15-17: do and follow the same work as (Round 13 and Round14)

Change next colour B:

Round18-21: do and follow the same work as (Round 13 and Round14)

Change next colour A:

Round22-23: do and follow the same work as (Round 13 and Round14)

Fasten off

Make front button band:

Round1:Ch1, 1 hdc in each st across into front band,(41)

Round2-3: ch1, 1hdc in each st across to end. (41) Fasten off

Make collars:

Change colour B:

Round1: ch3, skip next 2 sts, *make v st( 1dc, ch2, 1dc), ch1*repeat from * to * across

into neck line, make 1 dc into last st, turn work.

Round2: ch3, make shell (5dc) in each v st across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Round3: ch4, *make v st(1dc, ch2, 1dc) into middle st of shell 5dc sts,ch1*, repeat

from * to * across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.

Round4: ch3, make shell (5dc) in each v st across to end, make 1dc into last st, turn.
