My new project today topic is crochet ruffled baby coat jacket making for 2-3 years, in my pattern we mention about all sizes if you want to like it, I hope you can easily to change the size, we are going to use #3 light Weight yarn with 3.5mm (E-4) hook for the pattern. Number of Crochet Hook changing for Sizes

0-3 months chains 40, hook size 3.5mm (E-4) 

3-6 months chains 44, hook size 3.5mm (E) 

12-24 months chains 50, hook size 3.5mm (E-4) 

2-3 Years chains 52, hook size 3.5mm (E-4) 

3-4 Years chains 56, hook size 4mm (G-6)

Items to be need:

Wool: 250-300 Gram #3Light Weight or DK Weight 3ply (5dc X 2.5 Rows = 1 inch)

Crochet hook: size 3.5mm (E-4) hook

Buttons

Baby Cardigan Jacket Size:      2-3 years little Girls

Gauge:  5dc x 2. Rows = 1 inch with hook size 3.5mm/ E-4

 Pattern for gauge:  

Length: from shoulder to bottom =14-15 inches

Chest size =24-25 inches

 Special stitch:

1.       Do stitch marker corner of chest (division of sleeves)

2.       Ch2 does not count

3.       Check out the size of chest then working for skirt, repeat more rounds for long sweater

           if you will like.

Special stitch: CL(cluster stitch :3 double crochet together into same st)

Cluster group make into same st( cluster, chains 2, cluster)make into same stitch.

Make chains 52, turn work.

Round1- 1 dc into 4^th ch from the hook, make 1 dc in each ch across to end, turn work.(50)

Change color B:

Round2- ch2 don’t count, make 1dc into same st, *FP dc into next st, BP dc into next

St*, repeat from * to * across to end, make 1 dc into last st, turn work.(50)

Change main color:

Round3-ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st, make 1 dc into next st,* 2dc into next

Make Ruffles around the chest:

Ruffle Row 1- ch2, 1 dc into same st, make 3 dc in each st across to end, turn work.

From * to * across to end, make 1 dc into last st, turn work. Fasten off

Note: now we are going to start the chest again from under ruffles into round 8 stitches.

Round9- join yarn again into 1 st st of round 8 under ruffles, ch2, 1 dc into same st, make

1 dc in each st into round 8 across to end, make 1 dc into last st, turn work.(132)

Round10- ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st, *skip next 2 sts, make (cl, ch2,cl) Into

next st For Cl see abbreviation special stitch, *, repeat from * to * across to end, make 1dc

into last st, turn work. (43 cl groups)

Round11- ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st,ch1, *make cluster group (cl, ch2, cl)

into Next middle space of previous cluster group, ch1*, repeat from * to * across to end,

Round12: do and follow the same work as we done in Round 11 of chest.

Note: now we are going to divide cluster groups in 4 parts (7 for front, 7 1st for sleeve, 15 for 

back,7 for 2^nd sleeve, 7 for 2^nd fronts)

Round13:ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st, *ch1, make cluster group (cl, ch2,cl)

Into next middle space of previous group*,repeat from * to * 6 more times, skip/miss

Next 7 cluster groups for 1 st sleeve, then continue from * to * in each next 15 middle spaces

for Back side, skip/miss next 7 cluster groups for 2^nd sleeve, then continue from * to * across

In each last 7 middle spaces across to end, make 1 dc into last st, turn work.(29 cl groups)

Round14- ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st,ch1, *make cluster group (cl, ch2, cl)

into Next middle space of previous cluster group, ch1*, repeat from * to * across to end,

make 1 dc into last st, turn work.(29 cl groups)

Round15-18- do and follow the same work as we done in round 14.

Change color B:

Round19-29: do and follow the same work as we done in Round 14.

Changing color for each round. Fasten off

Make front bands:

Row1: right side facing front band corner, join yarn, make 1 hdc in each st across

Into edging of front band, turn work, (50 hdc)

Row2-3, ch1, hdc into same st, make 1 hdc in each st across into band,

Now working into neck line, make 3 hdc into neck corner st, then across 1 hdc in each st

Around neck line, then make 3 hdc into 2^nd corner st of neck line, then across 1 hdc

Into 2^nd front edging band, then turn work,

Repeat 2 more rounds for 2^nd front edging, then finish off and sew buttons on band.

Making jacket sleeves x 2:

Note: add the same pattern as we have done in the jacket:

Round1: join yarn into corner st of sleeve opening, ch2, make cl into same st, ch2, and

Make cl into next corner st, *ch1, make cluster group (cl, ch2, cl) into Next middle space

of previous cluster group, ch1*, repeat from * to * across into sleeve opening each 7 spaces

 of cluster groups,ch1 do sl st into 1^st cl st, turn work, sl st into next middle of ch2(7)

Round2- ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc into same st, , *ch1, make cluster group (cl, ch2, cl)

 into Next middle space of previous cluster group, ch1*, repeat from * to * across into

Sleeve opening each 7 spaces of cluster groups,ch1 do sl st into 1^st  st, turn work.(7 cl groups)

Round3- 12: do and follow the same work as we done in Round 2 of sleeve.

 Making Ruffles of sleeve cuffs:

Round1: ch2, don’t count, make 1 dc into same st, then make 1 dc in each st around

The cuff of sleeves, do sl st into 1 st st. (35 dc)

Change color B:

Make Ruffles:

Work: join yarn into same st, make 2 dc into same st, and make 3 dc in each st around

The cuff 35 sts, do sl st into 1 st st. fasten off

Change main color A:

Round2: join yarn into 1 st dc st of round 1 from under ruffles, ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc

Into same st, make 1 dc in each st around the cuffs into round 1 of 35 sts, do sl st into 1^st

St to join round.

Make Ruffles: ch2, 2dc into same st, make 3 dc in each st around the cuff 35 sts, do sl st
