CROCHET BUTTERFLY PATTERN:

Free pattern:

Special stitch: cluster (make 3 dc together into same stitch)

Make chains 5, do slip stitch to join into 1^st ch, make a small circle.

Now working into circle.

Color A:

Round1- ch 2, make cluster 2 dc into same space, *ch1, make cluster into same space*,

Repeat total 8 times from * to * into same circle. Sl st to join into 1^st st. (8 clusters)

Change color B:

Round2- join yarn into ch1 space, make 2 clusters group into same space, ch2, 

make cluster 2 dc into same space, ch 2, make cluster (3dc together into same space),

* make (cluster,ch2, cluster) into next ch-space*, repeat from * to * total 8 times.

(8 cluster groups)

Change color C:

Round3- join yarn into ch2 space of cluster group, *make shell into same space, make 

ch2, 6dc, ch2, 7 dc into same space, do sl st into next ch2-space*, repeat from * to *

 8 times In each ch2-sapce. Do sl st to join into 1 st st. ( 8 shells)

Fasten off

Make feelers:

Make chains 9 , then make 1 sl st in each ch across, fold butterfly flower in half way

Then fold the chain lace around into center of butterfly, then sl st, make feelers of butterfly

Make chains 7, add pearl, then make 1 sl st in each ch across, make 2^nd feeler chains 7, 

add A pearl, then make sl st in each ch across. Fasten off

Small butterfly pattern:

Make chains 5, do slip stitch to join into 1 st chains to make a small circle.

Now working into circle.

Round1- ch3, 2dc, *ch1, 3dc into same space*, repeat from * to * around into same

Space. (8 (3dc groups)

Change color B:

Round2- join yarn into ch1-sapce, *make bigger into same space wing (1dc, 4 treble crochet,

 ch 2, 4 treble crochet, 1dc), make 2^nd bigger wing into next ch-space(1dc, 4 treble crochet,

 ch 2, 4 treble crochet, 1dc),make small wing(1hdc, 4 dc crochet, ch 2, 4 dc crochet, 1dhc),

then make again small wing into next ch-space(1hdc, 4 dc crochet, ch 2, 4 dc crochet, 1dhc)*,

repeat from * to * across into next ch-spaces. Do sl st to join. Total 8 wings

(2 bigger, 2 smaller, 2 bigger, 2 smaller)

Fasten off

Finishing: fold butterfly in half way, small wings to small and bigger wing to bigger,

Then fold a piece of yarn around into center of butterfly, 7 or 8 times, then sl st,

Make feeler:

Work. Chains 7, hdc into 3^rd ch, then make sl st in each ch, make again chains 7, hdc into

3^rd ch, then make sl st in each ch across. Fasten off
