Items to be need:

 350 grams Teal #3 Light DK weight (3ply wool- 5 double crochet = 1 inch) with

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

 Size:  Ladies Large sizes 38-40 chest 

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

Large sizes jacket Length from shoulder: 26-27 inches/68cm

Follow size chart for changeing.

Small Size     34-36: chains 186+2= 188 (31 groups pattern)

Medium Size 38-40: chains 204+2= 206 (34 groups pattern)

Large Size      40-42: chains 222+2= 224 (37 groups pattern)

X- Large Size 42-44: chains 244+2= 246 (41 groups pattern)

Pattern Cardigan Jacket Large size:

Both Fronts + Back  makes chains 224 

Round1- make dc into 4^th ch from the hook, make dc in each ch across till end,

Turn.(dc 222)

Round2- ch2 don’t count, make1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, skip next st, 1 dc in each next 5 sts*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, turn work. We have 37 groups pattern)

Round3- ch1 not count, make1 sc in each 5 sts, *ch1, skip ch-space, make 1 sc in each next

5 sts*, Repeat from * to * across to end, turn work. (37 group’s pattern)

Round4- ch2 don’t count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into

middle st of  the 5 dc group into previous Row, make 1dc in each middle 3 sc sts, then work

again treble crochet front post  into middle dc st  into previous row*, repeat from * to * across

 till end, make 1 dc in  each last 5 sts, turn work. (37 group’s pattern)

Round5- ch1 not count, make 1 sc in each 5 sts, *ch1, skip a ch, make1 sc in each next 5 sts*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, turn work. (37 group’s pattern)

Round6- ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into

Round7- 58: Repeat and Follow the same work we have worked in Round 5 & Round 6.

Measurement Approx. from Round 1 is =17 inches/ 43 cm

Note: Now divide pattern groups, 8 groups 1^st front panel, 3 armhole, 15 back panel, 3 armhole,

8 for 2^nd front panel.

Make 1^st Front Panel Shoulders and Neck line:

Now start work in the front panel 8 groups of pattern.

Round1- ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into

middle st of  3 dc group into previous Row, make 1dc in each middle 3 sc sts, then work

again treble crochet front post into middle dc st into previous row*, repeat from * to * across

in next 5 groups pattern, then make 1 dc in each next 5 sts, turn work. (8 group’s pattern)

Round2- ch1 not count, *make 1 sc in each 5 sts, ch1, skip a ch*, Repeat from * to * across

Round9- ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, ch1, make treble crochet front post together

into middle front post in previous Row, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into middle st of 

3 dc group into previous Row, make 1dc in each middle 3 sc sts, then work again treble crochet

front post into middle dc st into previous row*, repeat from * to * across, then make 1 dc in each

last 5 sts, turn work. (8 group’s pattern)

Round10- ch1 not count, *make 1 sc in each 5 sts, ch1, skip a ch*, Repeat from * to * across

in the next 5 group, skip next group, ch1, sc in each next 5 sts, turn work. (7 groups)

Round 11-29:  Repeat and follow decreasing (Round 1- 10) as we have done in the front panel.

We have completed the front panel now we have left 5 groups pattern in the shoulder front panel.

Measurement Approx. from division - 9 inches/ 23-24 cm

Back Panel Shoulder:

Round1- Leave/skip next 3 groups for armhole from the front panel we did before, rejoin yarn

next group of pattern right side facing you, ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, make

treble crochet front post into middle st of  3 dc group into previous Row, make 1dc in each middle

3 sc sts, then work again treble crochet front post into middle dc st into previous row*, repeat

from * to * across in the next 12 groups of pattern, then make 1 dc in each next 5 sts,

now we have15 group’s pattern, leave next 11 groups pattern, turn work.

Round2- ch1 not count, make1 sc in each 5 sts, *ch1, skip ch-space, make 1 sc in each next

5 sts*, Repeat from * to * across to end, turn work. (15 group’s pattern)

Round3- ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each 5 sts, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into

middle st of  3 dc group into previous Row, make 1dc in each middle 3 sc sts, then work

again treble crochet front post into middle dc st into previous row*, repeat from * to * across

 till end, make 1 dc in each last 5 sts, turn work. (15 group’s pattern)

Round4-29: Repeat and follow Round 2 & Round 3 back panel shoulder.

Measurement Approx. from division - 9 inches/ 23-24 cm

Make 2^nd Front Panel Shoulders and Neck line:

Round1- Leave/skip next 3 groups for armhole from the back panel we did before,

 Rejoin yarn next group of pattern right side facing you, ch2 not count, make 1 dc in each

5 sts, *ch1, make treble crochet front post into middle st of  3 dc group into previous Row,

make 1dc in each middle 3 sc sts, then work again treble crochet front post into middle dc st

into previous row*, repeat from * to * across till end, then make 1 dc in each 5 sts last group,

Turn work. we have 8 group’s pattern

Round2- ch1 not count, make1 sc in each 5 sts, ch1, then decrease next group, make sc

2 together next 2 sts, 1 sc in each next 3 sts, *ch1, skip a ch make 1 sc in each next 5 sts*,

Repeat from * to * across to end, turn work. (8 group’s pattern)

Now from Round 3-29. Follow the decreasing and repeating 1^st front panel neck and shoulders.

Sewing: sew and join both shoulders front panel to back right side facing together, for more

Making Border Lace:

Work: join yarn into corner of border at bottom line, ch1 not count, sc same st, ch3, 3dc into

Sc st, *skip next 3 sts, sc next st, ch3, 3dc into sc st*, repeat from * to * across till end.

Fasten off
