Mosaic Granny Square Simple and Easy Pattern


Mosaic Granny Square Tutorial 
Hello friends! today topic is my new project latest pattern mosaic granny square, you can make it for tablemat/placemat for home decors and also make a bigger size for cushions. its workup quickly with leftover wool, you can make it in different colors and sizes, I hope you would like and appreciate my new project, For one thing, you can make these free crochet mosaic square pattern for tablemat, cushion cover in larger sizes, make a lot of squares smaller or bigger then join together, Lay them on the table as a centerpiece, drape them over the back of an armchair for a pop of color, and stretch them across a hoop to make a dreamcatcher or simply hang them on your walls to be admired. They can also serve more functional purposes like hot pads or placemats to increases more round. i will give you an idea make a lot of in different colors join and lay them on table. I like it so much for tablemat, and cushioun covers.
You might be wondering how you crochet mosaic square granny pattern like bigger square table runner. Of course, there are many different ways to do it. That’s the fun part of crochet square patterns! Each design brings something unique to the table. the pattern just like as orignal square patterns, then change it in beggir sizes square, but in mind there are also square and oval shaped doilies along with some more interesting shapes. i have done and share more gorgeous crochet squares,round designs like doilies, you can easily to understand the pattern and easy to change sizes, for more help watch the video tutorial we explain in details for all sizes in my video tutorial.

you will love this pattern to make it so simple and easy mosaic squars lot of look pretty pattern, i hope you can make it in different sizes, choose any of colors 3ply light wool with 3.5mm (E-4) hook or use #4 Double Knit weight yarn with 4mm hook sizes, i used for that pattern light wool 3ply with 3.5 mm hook size.

US TERMS ABBREVIATIONS:

c.         crochet

ch.       chain

sc        single crochet

hdc      half double crochet

dc.       double crochet

Trb.      Treble crochet stitch

sts.      stitches

st.        stitch

slst.     slip stitch

Items to be need:

Wool:  #3 Light Weight yarn 

gauge of wool is- 5 double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E-4) Hook 

 Size:    Small Sizes mosaci granny square(5 inches in one side of square)

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch with (3.5 mm - E-4 Hook)


Free Pattern Mosaic Granny Square.


Color A:

 

Row 1: Make a magic ring. Into magic ring: ch3 (count as dc), 2 dc, ch 2, *3 dc, ch2* repeat

from * to * around, at the end make ch2, slip st join in the top of beginning ch 3, slip sts in the

next 2 dc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

 

Row 2: work in the corner ch-space, make ch3 (count as dc), dc in ch-2 sp, ch2, 2dc,

*Make ch2, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)in next ch-2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, at the end make ch2, slip st join in the top of beginning ch 3, slip st in the next  dc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

 

Color B:


Row 3: work in the corner ch-space, ch1 not count, make sc in ch-2 sp,ch2, sc,*make sc in next 2 sts, FPDC around dc of the 1st Row in next 3 sts one step down, sc in next 2 sts, (sc, ch2, sc)  in ch-2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, at the end make ch2, slip st join in the top of beginning sc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

Color A:

Row 4: work in the corner ch-space, make ch3 (count as dc), 2 dc in ch-2 sp, ch2, 3 dc, *ch 2, skip next 3 sts, dc in next 3 sts , ch 2, skip next 3 sts, (3 dc, ch2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, at the end slip st join in the top of beginning ch 3, slip st in the next  2 dc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

Color B:

Round 5: work in the corner ch-space, ch1 not count, make sc in ch-2 sp, ch2, sc, *sc in next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sc of Row 3 one step down, sc in next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sc of Row 3 one step down, sc in next 3 sts, (sc, ch2, sc) in next ch -2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, slip st join in the top of beginning sc, slip st in the corner ch-space,           

Color A:

Row 6: work in the corner ch-space, make ch3 (count as dc), 2 dc in ch-2 sp, ch2, 3 dc,  *dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, skip next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, skip next 3 sts, dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, skip next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, (3dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp in the corner*, at the end slip st join in the top of beginning ch 3, slip st in the next  2 dc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

Color B:

Row 7: work in the corner ch-space, ch1 not count, make sc in ch-2 sp, ch2, sc, *sc in next 5 sts, dc in next 2 sc of Row 5 one step down, sc in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sc of Row 5 one step down, sc in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sc of Row 5 one step down, sc in next 5 sts, (sc, ch 2, sc in next ch-2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, slip st join in the top of beginning sc, slip st in the corner ch-space,

Row 8: work in the corner ch-space, ch1 not count, make sc in ch-2 sp, ch2, sc,* make sc in each st acorss till next corner, (sc, ch2, sc) in next ch -2 sp in the corner*, repeat from * to * around, slip st join in the top of beginning sc. Fasten off
