Making Baby Socks Slippers Easy Pattern/Baby Woolen puff stitch socks slipper pattern

Hello Friends! Today topic is my new project of baby Socks for 3-6 months size, you can easily to change the size of the socks /slipper in large or small, it’s very easy and comfortable for kids, and for more understanding we make the same video tutorial. Hope you like it. This is a pair of baby socks slippers shoes works in new and latest fashion. It is a small size booties; I made this for 3 to 6 months baby boy. We used #3 DK weight yarn with 4mm (G) hook ,for other sizes we mention in below in my pattern. I have a lot of fun to crochet them, it is very easy pattern to understand with the same video tutorial for all my followers who are making and learning baby shoes. I made step by step pictures for easier to understand the pattern. I used the 2 of the colors dark blue and dark peach colors yarn, you can add one or more for the pattern if you want.

I used 3 Dk Weight yarn, some friends wanted that we explain about the yarn whenever I used in my pattern, we mention about the yarn that we are using in my projects, we always use 3ply Dk Weight yarn in my patterns with 3.5mm (E) hook or 4mm (G) hook. We explain below about the sizes for large or small.

We always want to show you easy patterns and give you easy instructions for crochet baby shoes. The size of the baby socks slippers for 3-6 months, it can be easy to change in other sizes small or larger, we mention in my pattern below and also share in my video tutorial watch full video instructions about both pairs, For large size increase some more chains for small size less some of chains you can change the size of hook too. Choose any of two colors or one color (#3 DK weight with 4mm (G) Hook) hope you like it.

Number of Crochet Hook changing for Sizes

0-3 months- chains 5, Hook size 3.5mm (E) 3 Dk Yarn

3-6 months- chains 5, hook size 4mm (G) 3 Dk Yarn

6-12 months chains 8, hook size 4mm (G) 3 Dk Yarn

12-24 months chains 10, hook size 4mm (G) 3 Dk Yarn

12-18 months chains 10, Hook size 4mm (G) 3 Dk Yarn

2-3 Years chains 12, hook size 4mm (G) 3 Dk Yarn

3-4 Years chains 14, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

Note: for the length of the socks repeat more rounds, then repeat 2 or 3 more rounds

 into the heel, at the top part repeat 3 or 4 rounds if you need.

Gauge: 

 length of Socks = 4 inches (5sc x 4 Rows = 1 inch)

 Size: small 3 to 6 months baby

 Item to be need:

 Tow colors dark blue and dark peach color Dk Weight #3 yarn(16-20 stitches = 1 inch)

 Crochet needle

Hook size. 4mm (G) Hook

 US Terms ABBREVIATIONS:

c.         Crochet

ch.       Chain

sc         Single crochet

hdc      Half double crochet

3-6 months- chains 5, hook size 4mm (G) 3 DK Yarn

Puff Stitch (puff):

Puff stitches will very with how many loops they will pull up. 

1.      *yarn over, insert a hook into the designated stitch and pull up a loop, repeat from * into the same stitch 4 more times for a total of 9 loops on the hook

2.      Yarn over; pull through all the loops on the hook. then make a slip stitch. 

BABY SOCKS FREE PATTERN:

For 3-6 months size make chains 5.

Round1- make 2 sc into 2^nd ch from the hook, make 1 sc in each next 2 ch,s, make 3 sc

Into last ch, work into opposite side, make 1 sc in each next 2 sts, make 1 sc into last

St, join into ch1. (10)

Round2-ch1, make 2 sc in each next 2 sts, 1 sc in each next 2 sts, 2 sc in each next 3 sts

Into corner, work into opposite side; make 1 sc in each next 2 sts, 2 sc into last st,

Do sl st to join into 1^st ch. (16)

Round3- ch1, *make 1 sc into next st, 2 sc into next st*, repeat from * to * 1 more time, then

make 1 sc in each next 2 sts, then repeat from* to * 3 more times, work into opposite side, make

1 sc in each next 2 sts, repeat from* to *1 more time at the end, do sl st to join into 1^st ch.(22)

Round4- ch1, make 1 sc in each st around, do sl st to join into 1^st ch. (22)

Round5-6- do and follow the same work as we done in Round4.

Change color B:

Round7-11- do and follow the same work as we done in Round4.

Note: For large size repeat 2 or 3 more rounds then make the heel part.

Make heel of sock/slipper:

Leave /skip 4 stitches at front of sock/slipper.

Round1- skip 4 sts at front, join yarn into next st, ch1, make 1 sc in each next 18 sts, turn work. (18)

Round2-ch1, make 1 sc in each 18 sts across, then turn work.(18)

Round3-9-do and follow the same work as have done in round 2 of heel.(18)

Sew and join heel back:

Work- fold a part of heel into wrong side, then make 1 slip stitch in each st to join and close the

Heel back together. Fasten off

Make a cuff around the sock slipper:

We are going to make puff stitch around the cuff of socks.

Round1-ch3, *skip next st, 1 dc into next st, make a puff st into skipped st*, repeat from * to *

Around the cuffs of sock slipper, do sl st to join into 3rc ch.(10 puff stitches)

Round2- ch1, turn work, skip next puff st and make 1 dc into next middle space of 2 puffs,

Then make a puff st into same st of previous puff st we skipped before, do and continue

*Skip next puff st, make 1 dc into next middle space of 2 puffs, then make a puff st into same

St of previous puff st we skipped before*, repeat from * to * around, do sl st to join into ch.

Fasten off

Note: if you want to make more rounds of puff st then you can repeat round2 of puff st.

Change color for 2 rounds. then finish off.
