Circumference of hat: 16 inches

 Hat Size: small 9-12 months Baby

 Item to be need:

 Tow colors Brown and Yellow color Dk Weight 4ply yarn(4hdc x 3 rows= 1 inch)

 Crochet needle

 Hook size. 4mm (G) Hook

Number of chains for changing Sizes

0-3 months- chains 21, Hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

3-6 months- chains 25, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

9-12 months chains 29, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

12-24 months chains 33, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

2-3 Years chains 37, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

3-4 Years chains 41, hook size 4mm (G) 4 Dk Yarn

Free Pattern Size 9- 12 months:

Color A:

Make chains 29,

Round1- hdc into 3^rd ch, then make 1 hdc in each next 18 chains. Make 1 sc in each next

8 chains, turn work.(20 hdc + 8 sc)

Round2- ch1 we count sc, make 1 sc in each next 7 sts, then make 1 hdc in each next 20 sts,

Turn work,( 20 hdc + 8 sc)

Change color B:

Round3: ch1 don’t count, hdc into same st, hdc in each next 17 sts, then make 1 sc in each

Next 8 sts, turn work.(20 hdc + 8 sc)

Round4: ch1 we count sc, make 1 sc in each next 7 sts, then make 1 hdc in each next 20 sts,

Turn work,( 20 hdc + 8 sc)

Change color A:

Round 5-43- do and follow the same work as we done in Round 3 and Round4.

Changing color after 2 Rounds. Fasten off

Sew and close the opening of hat.

Work: into wrong side of hat sew the opening, make 1 slip stitch in each stitch across to end.

Make Border Band.

Note: hold the hat to the same point for making border band, single crochet side for top,

And half double crochet stitches for bottom.

Color B:

Round1- ch1, hdc in each st around the hat for bottom band, do sl st to join.(  58 hdc)

Round2- ch1 don’t count,* make front post into next st, and back post into next st*, repeat

From * to * around the border, do sl st into 1^st st.

Round3- ch1 don’t count, *make front post into front post and back post into back post *,

Repeat from * to * around, do sl st to join. Fasten off

Sew the hat top opening:

Work: sew and close the hat top opening, use needle and a piece of yarn, use whip stitch

For sewing the hat top opening. Fasten off and sew a pom pom at top of the hat.
