Instructions:  We have done new stylish crochet  Baby Beanie Hat size, you can easily to change the size as you want to make it, we explain in details about the pattern in my 
video tutorial We add two of the colors in baby hat, you can chose any of other colors according to your taste. We used light weight #3 or DK weight wool 3 ply with hook size 3.5mm(E-4) crochet hook for this baby beanie hat. Size of the hat we mention below in the pattern. This baby elegant hat started from bottom to top, we add new cluster stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, you can be easily to change smaller or bigger sizes, so, i hope you will follow my other crochet ideas we mention below.  Items to be need:

Wool: 70- 80 grams  3ply Double Knit wool or Light Weight yarn  #3 = 

(5 dc stitches & 2.5 Rows  = 1 inches)

Crochet hook size:3.5 mm US (E-4)

Size:  9-18 Months: Hat Circumference = 14-15/38cm  •  Height hat = 7 inches

Gauge:  5 Half double crochet X 3 Rows with hook size 3.5mm (E-4)

changing for Sizes:

New Born: Hat Circumference = 12 inches/30 cm •  Height hat = 5 inches

0-3 Months: Hat Circumference = 13 inches/34 cm •  Height hat = 5.5 inches

3-6 Months: Hat Circumference = 13-14 inches /36 cm •  Height hat = 6 inches

9-18 Months: Hat Circumference = 14-15/38cm  •  Height hat = 7 inches

Toddler & Small Child (Approximately 1 to 5 years - 
 Rib Band Size: Hat Circumference = 16-17"  •  Height hat = 7.25 inches

Child (Approximately 5 to 10 years - 
 Rib Band Size: Hat Circumference = 18"  •  Height hat = 7.5 inches

Teen / Small Adult :  Hat Circumference = 19"  •  Height hat = 8 inches

Medium Adult :  Hat Circumference = 20"  •  Height hat = 8 inches

Large Adult :Hat Circumference = 21.75"  •  Height hat = 8.25 inches


New Baby Hat Pattern for 9-18 months:

Special St: (DC CLUSTER STITCH- *yarn over the hook, into post of dc pull up a loop,

we have 3 loops on hook, yarn over leave 2 loops, now we have 2 loops on hook,*

repeat from * to * 4 more times make dc cluster, now we have 6 loops on hook, yarn 

over leave 2 loops, yarn over leave 2 loops, yarn over leave 2 loops, yarn over leave 

2 loops, yarn over leave last 2 loops, now we have 1 loop on hook.

Make Ribbing Band:

With color B make Chains 11,

Row1- hdc into 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in each ch across, turn. (hdc 10)

Row2, ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 10)

Row3- 48: Repeat and follow Row 2 of ribbing.

Sewing: close the Rib band, use needle for sewing, or crochet hook and slip st.

sew and join the rib band top 10 hdc  stitches to the beginning 10 chaining row.

You can change the size of rib band as you want to need for.

I am making the baby hat 9-18 months.

With same color B, now we will start work around the ribbing, make sc in each

St around the edging or ribbing hat. (We have 74 sc)

Change color A:

Start hat pattern:

Row1- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, slip st into first dc. (dc 74)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *skip next st, dc into next st, into post of 

same dc make dc cluster st (see special st),* Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into 

first dc. (74 sts)

Row3- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, slip st into first dc. (dc 74)

Row5- Repeat & follow Row 2 of hat. (74 sts)

Row6- Repeat & follow Row 3 of hat. (dc 74)

Row7- Repeat & follow Row 2 of hat. (74 sts)

Row8- Repeat & follow Row 3 of hat. (dc 74)

Row9- Repeat & follow Row 2 of hat. (74 sts)

Row10- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *dc 2 together, 1dc next st*, repeat from * to *

Around, slip st into first dc.

Row11- Repeat and follow Row 2 of hat.

Row12- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *dc 2 together, 1dc next st*, repeat from * to *

Around, slip st into first dc.

Row13- Repeat and follow Row 2 of hat.

Row14- ch2 don’t count, dc 2 together repeat around the top of hat. Close the hat top.

And sew pom pom of crochet button.

Crochet button pattern:

Make magic circle.

Row1- into circle make 10 sc. don’t make slip st. repeat sc around and around in the

Circle. Fasten off

Sewing: sew and close top of hat and attach button on top of hat.
