We provide you easy instructions for crochet Baby pattern for dress toddler sizes 2-3 years’ but you can easily to change the pattern for more sizes smaller or bigger as you want to make, for large sizes add more chains then follow the same pattern. choose any of color  Baby Light weight or DK Weight  with 3.5 mm (E-4)hook and use some of fancy buttons or pearls for small puff little flowers; you can choose other colors for this pattern. Items to be need:

Wool: Light Weight #3/ DK Weight 3ply (5 stitches = 1 inches)

Crochet hook size 3.5 mm/E-4 hook

Buttons

Toddler Sizes:      2-3 years 

Gauge:  5dc x 2.5 rows = 1 inch

 Pattern for gauge:  

Length: from shoulder =20 inches 52 cm

Chest size =27-28 inches

Special stitch:

1. Do stitch marker corner of chest
2. Ch1 not count
3. Check out the size of chest then work in the skirt

changing for sizes:

0-3 months:   chains 70

6-12 months: chains 75

1-2 years:      chains 80

2-3 years:      chains 90

4-6 years:      chains 100

Special Stitch pattern:

1-  v-stitch: (1 double crochet, ch 2, 1 double crochet into same st)

2- Shell: ( front post double crochet into post of dc in v-st, 5 double crochet into 

same space of v-st, front post double crochet into post of dc in v-st )

3- Puff stitch: Insert the hook in the single crochets. Make 2 chs. We won’t count this chains as a stitch. Now we will make a group of 5 puff stitches in the same stich where we have made chains.

Now we will make 1st puff stitch. Make 1 yo and insert the hook in the stitch. Make the loop the same height as the group of chains. Put the crochet with a yo and insert it in the same stitch where we are working right now. Make the loop the same height as the others. Now we will make the 3rd loop. Put the crochet with a yo and insert it in the same stitch. Make the 4th and the 5th loop the same way – all loops must be the same height. Draw the yarn through the 5 loops and close it together with the group of chains. Make 3 chs.

Pattern for Crochet toddler dress 2-3 years:

Make chains 90, slip st join into first ch st.

Measurement 90 chains is 17 inches/44cm

Row1- ch2 don’t count, 2dc into same st, *1 dc next st, 2 dc in next st*, Repeat

From * to * around, do slip st into 1^st dc. (dc 135)

Row2- ch2 don’t count, 2dc into same st, *1 dc in each next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*, Repeat

From * to * around, do slip st into 1st dc. (dc 180)

Row3- ch2 don’t count, 2dc into same st, *1 dc in each next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st*, Repeat

From * to * around, do slip st into 1st dc. (dc 225)

Row4- ch2 don’t count, 1 dc in each st around, do slip st into 1^st dc. (dc 225)

Row5-8: Repeat and follow Row 4 of chest.

Divide for (Front dc 67, sleeve dc 45, back dc 68, sleeve dc 45)

Row9, ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, make chains 6, skip/leave 45 sts sleeve, dc in each

Next 67 in front panel, make chains 6, skip/leave 45 sts for second sleeve, dc in each 

next 67 Sts back, do slip st into first dc. We have 147 stitches in front and back 

include chains armholes both side.

From here forward the dress in worked in rounds.

Row10- ch2 don’t count, dc in each st around, do slip st into 1^st dc. (dc 147)

Row11-13: Repeat and follow Row 10 of dress.

From neck measurement 6 inches/ 15cm

Dress Skirt Adding pattern:

Row1- ch2 don’t count, make v-st into same st (dc, ch2, dc), skip next 2 sts,

v-st(dc, ch2, dc) in next st*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first dc of v-st.

we have v-stitch 49.

Row2- ch2 don’t count, *work front post dc in the dc of v-st, make shell 5 dc into middle

space Of v-st, make front post dc in the dc of v-st*, Repeat pattern from * to* in every 

v-st around, Do slip st into first front post of dc, slip st in next 3 dc. 

We have shell 49.

Now start v-st into middle st of shell.

Row3- into middle st of shell make first v-st, ch5, dc into same st, *ch1, make

v-st (dc , ch2, dc) in next middle st of shell,* repeat from * to * around, do slip st into

Beginning 3^rd ch of first v-st. (we have v-stitch 49)

Row4- 26: Repeat and follow Pattern Row 2 & Row 3 of dress skirt.

Row27- into middle st of shell make first v-st, ch5, dc into same st, *ch1, make

v-st (dc , ch2, dc) in next middle st of shell,* repeat from * to * around, do slip st into

Beginning 3rd ch of first v-st. we have v-stitch 49.

Row28- into middle of v-st space make shell dc 7, *sc between space of 2 v-st, make

Shell 7 dc in next middle space of v-st*, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st.

From shoulder measurement dress is 20 inches/ 51 cm

Fasten off

Sleeves armhole:

Row1- join yarn in middle ch underarm right side facing dress, ch2 don’t count, *make 2dc

In every st around armhole. Do slip st into first dc.

Row2- ch2 don’t count, 2 dc in each st around. Do slip st. fasten off

Follow the same work for second sleeve as we did pattern in first sleeve.

Make dress neck edging:

Work: join yarn into st, * sc into same st, skip next 2 st, shell 5 dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * around the neck, do slip st into sc. Fasten off

Make puff flower x 3:

Work: make 14 sc into magic circle.

Row2- make puff st into st, *ch2, make puff into same st, ch3, skip next st, slip st

In next st*, repeat * to * 6 more times. Do slip st. we 7 puff petals.

for puff st see (special st no 3)

Make 2 more flowers same as we did. Sew pearl of button in middle of flower then attach

Sew in the chest of dress showing in pictures.

Make chain lace:

Work: make chains 120, then insert in the neck line. Make wool tassels and sew in

Both corner of chains. Finish off
