Today topic is my new project for winter crochet Baby Ruffles booties size for 12-18 months or 1-2 years, we have done and completed full winter set for little girls new design for fall and winter season include baby top sweater cardigan coat with shoes,pants,and hat. i hope you will love and apperciate. explain in details in the pattern below,showing step by step with the  same video tutorial. you can be easily to change for all sizes as you want to make for babies larger or smaller. you can make with different colors according to your choice larger or smaller sizes for kids. we explain below in my pattern for all sizes as you want make, we mention about for all sizes in my video tutorial to give you most easier to understand the pattern.

Pattern Baby Booties/Shoes 12-18 months

Gauge: 

 1-2 years Sole size = 5 inches/ 13cm   

 4 dc x 2 Rows = 1 inch with 3.5 mm (E) hook size

 Size: 12-18 months /1-2 years

 Item to be need:

 Two colors double knit 4 ply wool OR Medium Weight #4 (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

 Hook sizes 4mm/G-6

US Terms ABBREVIATIONS:

c.          Crochet

ch.        Chain

sc         Single crochet

hdc       Half double crochet

dc.        Double crochet

sts.       Stitches

st.         Stitch

sl st.      Slip stitches

sc tog    Single crochet 2 together

dc tog    Double crochet 2 together

Please Note:

Follow size changing chart:

0-3 months: chains 11/ Size of sole length 3.5 inches/ 9 cm (hook 3.5mm/E-4)

3-6 months: chains 12/ Size of sole length 4 inches/ 10 cm (hook 3.5mm/E-4)

6-12 months: chains 12/ Size of sole length 4.5 inches/ 11 cm (hook 4mm/G-6)

12-18 months: chains 13/ Size of sole length 5 inches/ 13 cm (hook 4mm/G-6)

Color A:

12-18 months Make chains 13, hook size 4mm/G-6

Make chains 13,

Round1- make 2 hdc into 3^rd ch from the hook, make 1 hdc in each next 9 chains,

Make 6 hdc into last ch, work opposite side, make 1 hdc in each next 9 sts, make 3 hdc

Into last st, do slip st top of ch2. (hdc 30)

Round2- ch2 don’t count, make 2 dc into same st, 2 dc in each next 2 sts, 1 dc in each next

8 sts, 2 dc in each st into 6 hdc group sts, work opposite side, make 1 dc in each next 9 sts,

Make 2 dc in each last 3 sts, do slip st top of ch2. Fasten off (dc 42)

Measurement of sole is 4.5 inches/ 11 cm

Upper part of shoes:

Round1- rejoins yarn into middle st of heel, ch2 we don’t count dc, make dc in each st

around the sole, do slip st top of dc. (dc 42)

Stitch mark 22 dc front of the toe, next row we are decreasing.

Change color B:

Round2- ch2 we don’t count, make dc in each next 10 sts, then make *dc 2 together repeat

11 times Front of the toe 22 sts*, make 1 dc remains 10 sts, do slip st into top of dc. (dc 31)

Stitch mark 11 dc front of the toe, next row we are decreasing.

Round3- ch2 we don’t count, make dc in each next 10 sts, make dc 2 together repeat 2 times,

3 dc together 1 time, dc 2 together repeat 2 times, make 1 dc remains 10 sts, do slip st into top

of dc. (dc 25)

Round4- ch2 we don’t count, make 1 dc in each st around, do slip st to join top of dc,

(dc 25)

Make Ruffles:

Round5- ch2, turn work, make 2 dc in each st into back loop around 25 sts, do slip st into dc.

Change color A:

Make cuff band shoes:

Round6- into heel middle st, make ch2 don’t count, turn work, make dc 2 together 1 time,

 make dc in each st around 25 sts, do slip st Dc st, (dc 24)

Round7- ch2 don’t count, make dc 2 together 1 time, dc in each st around, at the end make

Dc 2 together 1 time, do slip st into dc st. (dc 22)

Round8- ch2 don’t count, *make front post dc next st, make back post next dc*,

Repeat from * to * around, do slip st dc. (22 dc)

Make tie lace:

Make chains 60. Insert into shoes and make pom pom and sew.
