The Star Stitch Steps------- Step by Step :

Step-1--- First Star: Pull up a loop in the 2^nd chain from the hook and the next 4 chains (6 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all 6 loops, then make chain 1 to from the “eye”

Step-2--- Second Star: work subsequent stars by pulling up loops from the eye of star, the last leg, the same chain, and the next 2 chains (6 loops total on hook), yarn over the hook and pull through all 6 loops, make chain-1 to close the star stitch.

Step---3: End: Finish the row with a half double crochet (hdc) in the same chains as the last leg.

Step---4: Second Row (Half Double Crochets)

Turn and Work: chain 2 and turn. Work 2 half double crochet into each star’s “eye” across the row ending with 1 half double crochet in the top of the turning chains.

Step---5:Third Row (Next Star Row)

Turn and Continue: chain 3 and turn. Create the first star by pulling up loops in the 2^nd and 3^rd chains from the hook, the first stitch, and the next 2 stitches (6 loops), yarn over the hook, pull through all 6 loops, and make chain-1 to close the star, Repeat the star sequence across the row, ending with half double crochet in the last stitch.

Foundation Chain:

30-inch wide blanket, with a 4 mm hook and medium-weight yarn,

Make Multiple of 2+ 2 +2…. +3 extra chains, 102 – 106 chains may be suitable, and then

adjust according to yours desire size of blanket.

Row1- Right side: make chains 102-106, make the first star (see step-1), *make the 2^nd star

(see step-2), now from * follow the 2^nd star stitch across the row, ending with a half double

Crochet in the last chain, turn work.

Row2- Wrong side: chain 2 (as we count), make 2 half double crochet into each

star’s “eye” in previous row across the row, make half double crochet 1 in the last stitch,

turn.

Row3- Right side: make chain 3, follow the third Row (see step-5), *make the 2^nd star

(see step-2), now from * follow the 2^nd star stitch. Repeat the star sequence across

the row, ending with half double crochet in the last stitch.

Continue Repeating Row 2 & 3 until the blanket Measures 36 inches or reaches your

desired length,

changing between Baby Blue and Cream/White according to your chosen stripe sequence.

Border:

work- 1 single crochet evenly around all 4 sides of blanket, in each corner make (sc, ch2, sc).

Repeat 1 or 2 more Rows of single crochet around the border.

Finish with a slip stitch and fasten off. weave all ends.

Treble Crochet (tr): A treble crochet stitch made by yarn over twice before inserting the hook into the indicated stitch or space. Yarn over and pull up a loop, giving you four loops on the hook. Make chains 5, slip st into first ch to make small circle. or make magic ring.

Now working into the circle.

Row1- ch4 (count as tr st) make treble crochet (tr) 2 into middle space of circle,

Ch2, *make 3 treble crochet (tr), ch2* repeat 3 times in the same circle, slip st

Join into beginning 4^th ch. Now we have 4 groups of pattern in square

Color B:

Row2- make a loop insert hook and make treble crochet (tr) 3 into middle of ch2-space,

ch2, 3 treble crochet (tr) into corner of same ch2-space, *skip next st, make 3

treble crochet sts into next middle next st, skip next st, make corner into next middle

ch2-space of corner (3 treble crochet, ch2, 3 treble crochet)*, repeat from * to * around

the square, sl st join into beginning treble crochet st.

Fasten off or repeat more rows for bigger sizes square design.

now i have total of 100 squares.

10 squares x 10 Rows = 30" inches/ 76 cm length

Blanket Assembly:

Make squares depending on desired blanket size.
Join squares using slip stitch, whip stitch, or crochet join techniques.
Arrange in rows for a neat layout.
