hello friends! today topic is my favorite round tablemat/placemat for home decors, I hope you would like and appreciate my new project for home decors, For one thing, you can make these free crochet table mat/doily large size patterns for decorations.  Lay them on the table as a centerpiece, drape them over the back of an armchair for a pop of color, and stretch them across a hoop to make a dreamcatcher or simply hang them on your walls to be admired. They can also serve more functional purposes like hot pads or placemats to increases more round. I like it so mu for table circular pattern.

You might be wondering how you crochet a doily like round table runner. Of course, there are many different ways to do it. That’s the fun part of crochet doily patterns! Each design brings something unique to the table. the pattern just like as doily patterns most are worked in the round. Items to be need:

Wool:  #3 Light Weight yarn 

gauge of wool is- 5 double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E-4) Hook 

 Size:    Medium size Doily/ table cloth

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch with (3.5 mm - E-4 Hook)


Crochet table mat/table cloth free pattern:

Make chains 5, slip st to make small circle.

Now working into circle. Or make magic ring.

Make sc 8 in the circle. Slip st. (8 sc)

Row1- ch2 don’t count, make cluster dc 2 together) into same st, *ch1, make

Cluster (dc 2 together) next sc*, Repeat from * to * around,

Skip ch2, slip st.

We 8 clusters.

Row2- slip st middle into both cluster, ch2 don’t count, make 3 dc in each

Middle chain-space, skip ch2, slip st first dc. (dc 24)

Row3- ch2 don’t count, *make dc into st, ch1*, Repeat from * to * around.

Skip ch2, slip st into first dc.

Row4- ch2 don’t count, *make dc into dc st, 2 dc next ch-space*, Repeat from * to * around,

Skip ch2, slip st into first dc.

Row5- ch2 don’t count, *make dc into dc st, ch2, skip next dc*, Repeat from * to *

Around, skip ch2, slip st into first dc.

Change color

Row6- rejoin yarn into middle ch2-space, ch2 don’t count, make shell into same

Space (3dc, ch1, 3dc), *make 1 dc into next ch2-space, make shell into next ch2-space

(3dc, ch1, 3dc)*, Repeat from * to * around, skip ch2, do slip st into first dc.

We have 16 shells in the pattern.

Row7- do slip st in each next 2 dc, slip st into middle ch-space, make shell into same

Space (3dc, ch1, 3dc), *make 1 dc into next dc, make shell into next middle of shell

ch-space (3dc, ch1, 3dc)*, Repeat from * to * around, skip ch2, do slip st into first dc.

We have 16 shells in the pattern.

Row8- 9: Repeat and Follow Row 7.

Row10- do slip st in each next 2 dc, slip st into middle ch-space, make shell into same

Space (3dc, ch1, 3dc), *ch1, make 1 dc into next dc, ch1, make shell into next middle of

shell ch-space (3dc, ch1, 3dc)*, Repeat from * to * around, skip ch2, do slip st into first dc.

Row11- do slip st in each next 2 dc, slip st into middle ch-space, ch2 don’t count,

Make shell 7dc into same space, *ch1, dc into next dc, make shell 7 dc into next middle of

Shell, Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first dc.

Change color:

Work: rejoin yarn into first dc of shell, ch1 don’t count,* make sc in each 7 dc of shell, sc

Next ch, now Work from top to down, make 3 sc post of dc, Repeat In each post of dc next

5 rows from top to down, make slip st into ch of row 5, turn and make slip st in each sc

Acorss from down to top, make sc next ch*, repeat from * to * around the circular table cloth.

Fasten off weave
