Hello friends! today topic is my new project latest pattern mosaic granny square kitchern towel/dishcloth pattern, you can make it in bigger sizes for tablemat/placemat for home decors and also make a bigger size for cushions/ pillow covers. its workup quickly with leftover wool, you can make it in different colors and sizes, I hope you would like and appreciate my new project, For one thing, you can make these free crochet mosaic square pattern for tablemat, cushion cover in larger sizes, make a lot of mosaic squares smaller or bigger then join together, 

Lay them on the table as a centerpiece, drape them over the back of an armchair for a pop of color, and stretch them across a hoop to make a dreamcatcher or simply hang them on your walls to be admired. They can also serve more functional purposes like hot pads or placemats to increases more round. i will give you an idea make a lot of in different colors join and lay them on table. I like it so much for tablemat, and cushioun covers.

You might be wondering how you crochet mosaic square granny pattern like bigger square table runner. Of course, there are many different ways to do it. That’s the fun part of crochet square patterns! Each design brings something unique to the table. the pattern just like as orignal square patterns, then change it in beggir sizes square, but in mind there are also square and oval shaped doilies along with some more interesting shapes.

you will love this pattern to make it so simple and easy mosaic squars kitchen towels lot of look pretty pattern, i hope you can make it in different sizes, choose any of colors 3ply light wool with 3.5mm (E-4) hook or use #4 Double Knit medium weight yarn with 4mm hook sizes, i used for that pattern light wool 3ply with 3.5 mm hook size.

US TERMS ABBREVIATIONS:

c.         crochet

ch.       chain

sc        single crochet

hdc      half double crochet

dc.       double crochet

Trb.      Treble crochet stitch

sts.      stitches

st.        stitch

Items to be need:

Wool:  #3 Light Weight yarn 

gauge of wool is- 5 double crochet stitches x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Crochet hook size: 3.5mm (E-4) Hook 

 Size:    mosaic granny square kitchen towels (5-6 inches in one side of square)

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch with (3.5 mm - E-4 Hook)

Mosaic granny kitchen towel pattern:

Color A:

Make chains 4, slip st, make small circle.

Work:  make sc 8 into circle. Slip st first sc.

Note: Every row start in the corner of square, and change color.

Row1- ch3 we count dc, 2dc into same st, *make chains 3, skip next sc, 3dc in

Next st*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, at the end make ch3, slip st into 3rd ch,

Slip st in the next 2 sts, slip st next ch-space of corner.

We have 4 corner of square.

Color B:

Row2- ch1 don’t count, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) in the corner 1 step down skipped sc st,

*make ch3, skip 3dc sts, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) in the corner 1 step down skipped sc st*,

Repeat from * to * around, at the end make ch3, slip st into first dc of v-st, slip st

In next st into middle of corner.

Color A:

Row3- ch1 don’t count, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch,

*ch1, make 3dc 1 step down middle st of 3dc group, ch1, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down

in the corner middle ch*, repeat form * to * around, at the end make ch1, slip st into first dc

of v-st, slip st in next st into middle of corner.

Color B:

Row4- ch1 don’t count, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch,

ch1, make 3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, *ch1, skip next 3dc, make 3dc 1 step down

 in the next corner dc of v-st,ch1, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch,

ch1, make 3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st*, repeat from * to * around,

at the end make 3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, make ch1, slip st into first dc

of v-st, slip st in next st into middle of corner.

Color A:

Row5- ch1 don’t count, make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch, ch1, make

3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, *ch1, skip next 3 dc, make 3dc 1 step down middle st

of 3dc group, ch1, skip next 3dc, make 3dc 1 step down in the next corner dc of v-st,ch1, make

v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch, ch1, make 3dc 1 step down in the corner

dc of v-st*, repeat from * to * around, at the end make ch1, slip st into first dc  of v-st, slip st in

next st into middle of corner.

Color B:

Row6- ch1 don’t count, *make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch, ch1, make

3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, [ch1, skip next 3 dc, make 3dc 1 step down middle st

of 3dc group], repeat from [ to ] once more in the side, ch1, skip next 3dc, make 3dc 1 step down

in the next corner dc of v-st*, repeat from * to * 3 more times in the square, , at the end make

ch1, slip st into first dc of v-st, slip st in next st into middle of corner.

Color A:

Row7- ch1 don’t count, *make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch, ch1, make

3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, [ch1, skip next 3 dc, make 3dc 1 step down middle st

of 3dc group], repeat from [ to ] 2  more times in the side, ch1, skip next 3dc, make 3dc 

1 step down in the next corner dc of v-st*, repeat from * to * 3 more times in the square,

 at the end make ch1, slip st into first dc of v-st, slip st in next st into middle of corner.

Color B:

Row8- ch1 don’t count, *make v-st (dc, ch3, dc) 1 step down in the corner middle ch, ch1, make

3dc 1 step down in the corner dc of v-st, [ch1, skip next 3 dc, make 3dc 1 step down middle st

of 3dc group] repeat from [ to ] 3  more times in the side, ch1, skip next 3dc, make 3dc 1 step down

in the next corner dc of v-st*, repeat from * to * 3 more times in the square, , at the end make

ch1, slip st into first dc of v-st, slip st in next st into middle of corner.

From here repeat and follow increasing row, if you would like bigger sizes.

I have finished the mosaic granny square pattern for kitchen towel or dishcloth.

Measurement one side of square is 5-6 inches.

Make edging of square:

Color A:

Work: *corner sc into dc st, (sc, ch1 sc) into middle of corner ch-space, sc next

Corner dc, then make sc in each st across till next corner*,

Repeat from * to * 2 more times. For kitchen towel in the 3rd corner make chains 8-10,

Then follow the sc across till end. Slip st.

Next row of edging: ch1 not count, *sc corner st, (sc, ch1, sc) into middle ch of corner,

Then make sc in each st across till next corner*, repeat from * to * 2 more times,

In the 3rd corner chains 8 make a slip st in each ch, then make sc across till end.

Slip st, fasten off.

For dishcloth skip chains 8 in the corner as we worked for kitchen towel.
