 Items to be need:

 DK medium weight Acrylic yarn  (16-20 stitches = 4 inches)

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

 Size:    length of Square = 12  inches 

Gauge:  5 dc x 2 rows = 1 inch

Pattern:

Make Square x 2:

Chains 5 , slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle.

Working into circle.

Round1. Ch3 we count 1^st dc, make 14 dc into circle, sl st to join into 3^rd ch.(15)

Change colour.

Round2. Ch 4, *1dc into next st, ch1*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 3^rd ch.

Change colour.

Round3. Ch3 we count 1^st dc, make *2 dc into next ch-space, 1dc into next dc*, repeat

 From * to * around, sl st to join into 3^rd ch.

Change colour.

Round4. Ch1 not count, 1sc into same st, *make 1^st corner, ch6, skip next 4 sts, 1sc into next st,

ch3, skip next st, Sc into next st, ch3, skip next st, sc into next st,ch3, skip next st sc into next

st make 2^nd corner ch 6*, repeat from * to * around , sl st to join into 1^st sc, sl st into next corner

space.

Working into 1^st corner space.

Round5. Ch3 we count 1^st dc, 6dc, ch2, 7 dc, *1 sc into next ch-space, make 6 dc into next 

ch-space,1 sc into next ch-space, make 7dc, ch2 ,7dc into next corner*,repeat from * to * 

around, sl st to join.

Change colour.

Round6. Ch1, sc into same st, ch 5, make corner 1dc, ch2, 1dc into middle of corner  space,

Ch5, make 1 sc into next sc st, *ch3, make 1 sc into next 6 dc group middle of st, ch3, 1 sc

Into next sc, make 2^nd corner,ch5, 1dc, ch2, 1dc, ch5, 1 sc into next sc st*, repeat from * to *

around, do Sl st to join into 1^st sc.

Round7. Ch3 we count 1^st dc, make 1 dc in each next 5 ch,s, *make corner 3dc, ch2, 3dc into

Middle space of corner, make 1dc into next  5ch,s, 1dc into next sc, 1 dc into next 3 ch,s,

1dc into next sc, 1dc into next 3 ch,s, 1dc into next 5 ch,s, make 2^nd corner 3dc, ch2,3dc*,

Repeat from * to * around, do sl st to join into 3^rd ch.

Change colour.

Round8. Join yarn into corner space, make *1 st corner 3dc, ch2, 3dc into same space of corner,

Ch1,skip next 3dc sts, make 3dc into space,ch1, skip next 3sts, 3dc into next space, repeat and

Continue total 7 times the same work to next corner , ch1, make 2^nd  corner 3dc, ch2, 3dc next

2^nd corner space*, repeat from * to * around,ch1, do sl st to join into 3^rd ch, sl st into next 2 st,

Then  sl s into corner space.

Round9. Make 1^st corner into same space, ch3 we count 1^st dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc into same space,

*Ch1, 3dc into next ch-space*, repeat * to * across into 2^nd corner, make 3dc, ch2, 3dc into

2^nd corner space, repeat * to * across into 3^rd corner, make 3dc, ch2, 3dc into 3^rd corner space,

Repeat * to * across into 4^th corner, make 3dc, ch2, 3dc into 4^th corner space, repeat * to * 

across to end, sl st to join into 3^rd ch, sl st into next 2sts, then sl st into corner space.

Change colour.

Round10-11. Do and follow the same work as Round 9.

Change colour.

Round12-13. Do and follow the same work as Round 9. Fasten off

Finish of the square, measurement of square = 12 inches.
