Hello Friends! I’ve wanted to make a pair of crocheted slippers for a while now, and I finally got the chance to sit down and design a pair. I hope you enjoy this free Shells Slippers crochet pattern! 

These crochet slippers are super cute and will keep your feet warm and cozy. The low cut front and side design give the slippers a stylish and beautiful look, while the higher heel helps them stay put. The pattern works up quickly and easily and consists of basic crochet stitches with shells and double crochet pattern. 

You can whip up a set for yourself or to give as gifts in no time! For this pattern we use around 60-70 grams of Light Dk weight/size #3 and a hook size 3.5 mm US (E). These super fabulous slippers work up quickly so grab any of colors light wool or DK Weight #3 or #4 yarn and make them for yours or make for others.

Light DK Weight Wool #3 (#3ply wool- 5 double crochet stitches=1 inch

Gauges of wool(5 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch)

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

 Size:  Ladies & Girls fits 6-8 sizes

Ladies & Girls Shoes /Slippers Free pattern:

Make chains 5, slip st to join into 1^st ch, make a small circle.

Round1- ch3 we count dc, make 11 dc into circle. Do slip st to join into 3^rd ch.(12dc)

Round2- ch3 we count dc, *make 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into next st*, repeat from * to *

Around, do slip st to join into 3^rd ch. (18 dc)

Round3- ch3 we count dc, 1 dc into next st,*2 dc into next st, 1 dc in each next 2 sts*, Repeat

From * to * around, do slip st to join into 3^rd ch. (24 dc)

Round4- ch3 we count dc, 1 dc in each next 2 sts,*2 dc into next st, 1 dc in each next 3 sts*, 

Repeat From * to * around, do slip st to join into 3^rd ch. (30 dc)

Round5- make shell into first st, (ch3 we count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc), make chains 8, skip next 8 sts,

Make 1 dc in each next 13 dc sts, make chains 8, skip next 8 sts, do slip st to join into beginning 

3^rd ch, do slip st in each next 2 dc sts of shell, slip st into middle of shell.

Round6- make shell into middle of shell,(ch3 we count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc),make 8 hdc into

ch-space, Make 1 dc in each next 13 dc sts, make 8 hdc into next ch-space, do slip st to join into 

beginning 3rd ch, do slip st in each next 2 dc sts of shell, slip st into middle of shell.

Round7- make shell into middle of shell (ch3 we count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc),make chains 8, skip next 

8 sts, Make 1 dc in each next 13 dc sts, make chains 8, skip next 8 sts, do slip st to join into 

beginning 3^rd ch, do slip st in each next 2 dc sts of shell, slip st into middle of shell.

Round8- make shell into middle of shell,(ch3 we count dc, 2dc, ch2, 3dc),make 8 hdc into 

ch-space, Make 1 dc in each next 13 dc sts, make 8 hdc into next ch-space, do slip st to join into 

beginning rd ch, do slip st in each next 2 dc sts of shell, slip st into middle of shell.

Round9-14: Repeat and Follow Round 7 & Round8.fasten off

Make Heel Part:

Row1- skip the front pattern of slippers and rejoins yarn into 1^st dc st of heel, ch3 we count dc, 

1dc in each next 12 sts of heel, turn work.(13 dc)

Row2- ch3 we count dc, make dc in each next 12 sts, turn work. (13dc)

Row3- 8: Repeat and follow Row 2 of heel.

Row9- make edging of heel. Skip 1^st and 2^nd row of heel, rejoin yarn into next st of heel edge,

Ch3 count dc, make 9 dc into edge of heel, then make 1 dc across in each heel 11 sts, then

Continue 10 dc other side, now we have 31 dc around the heel, turn work.

Row10-12: ch3 we count dc, make 1 dc in each 30 sts, turn work. (31dc)

Row13- ch3 we count dc, 1 dc in each next 30 sts, now join the front pattern to the heel, make

Shell into middle of shell(3dc, ch2, 3dc), do slip st into beginning 3^rd ch. Fasten off

Weaves all ends.
