You keep mentioning 'Double knit 4-ply yarn', but double knitting yarn is NOT 4-ply (it's actually 8-ply). DK is also a #3 weight yarn. The hook size (4 mm) corresponds with using double knitting yarn, but if we are supposed to be using a worsted weight or aran yarn (a #4 yarn), please can you make this clear for all these patterns.
ReplyDeletethank you when i mention double knit 4 ply in the pattern its mean the same wool i always used in the pattern. in here avilble 2 differnte kinds wool one of the dk 4 ply and other dk 3 ply.
Deletedk 4 ply guage is 4 dc = 1 inch with 4mm hook but 3ply wool gauge is 5 dc with 3.5 mm hook okay
ReplyDeletei hope you understand i used in my projects always 2 kinds (dk 4 ply and light 3ply)
