Items to be need:

 400 grams #3 Light DK weight (3ply wool- 5 double crochet = 1 inch) with

 Crochet hook size: 3.5 mm (E)

 Size:  Ladies Large sizes XL- 42 chest 

Gauge:  5 dc x 2.5 Rows = 1 inch

 Length from shoulder: 26 inches/68cm

Back Panel:

Ribbing:

Chains 10,

Row1- sc into 2nd ch form the hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (9 sc)

Row2- ch1 we count sc, sc into back loop in each st across, turn. (9 sc)

Row3- 110: Repeat and follow Ribbing row 2. Fasten off

Measure Ribbing 110 Rows – 22 inches/ 56 cm

Start work edging of ribbing back panel.

Row1- ch1 don’t count, sc into first st, * make sc in each st in the every row ribbing back panel,

Turn work.

(we have 110 sc)

Row2- ch3 count dc, dc in each st across till end, turn. (110 dc)

Row3- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (110)

Row4-40:  Repeat and follow Row 2 & Row 3 pattern back panel.

Measure include ribbing- 16.5 inches/ 42 cm

Make armhole and shoulders:

Row1- slip st in each 8 sts, dc next st,*make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across, skip last 8 sts, turn work. (94 sts)

Row2- skip a dc st, make dc in each st across, skip last dc, turn work. (dc 92)

Row3- skip a st, make dc next st, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across, skip last st, turn work. (90 sts)

Row4-  Repeat and follow Row2 of shoulder. (dc 88)

Row5-  Repeat and follow Row3 of shoulder. ( 86 sts)

Row6-  Repeat and follow Row2 of shoulder. (dc 84)

Row7-  Repeat and follow Row3 of shoulder. ( 82 sts)

Row8-  Repeat and follow Row2 of shoulder. (dc 80)

Row9-  Repeat and follow Row3 of shoulder. ( 78 sts)

Row10- Repeat and follow Row2 of shoulder. (dc 76)

Row11- skip st, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across, dc in last st, turn. (75 sts)

Row12- ch3 count dc, dc in each st across till end, turn. (dc 75)

Row13- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (75)

Row14-20: Repeat and follow Row 12 & Row 13 of armhole/shoulder back panel.

Fasten off measure Approx. from division armhole- 9 inches/ 23 cm

Make Fronts x 2:

Ribbing:

Chains 10,

Row1- sc into 2nd ch form the hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (9 sc)

Row2- ch1 we count sc, sc into back loop in each st across, turn. (9 sc)

Row3-55: Repeat and follow Ribbing Row 2. Fasten off

Measure Ribbing 55 Rows – 11 inches/28 cm

Start work edging of ribbing front panel.

Row1- ch1 don’t count, sc into first st, * make sc in each st in the every row 

ribbing back panel,

Turn work. (we have 55 sc)

Row2- ch3 count dc, dc in each st across till end, turn. (55 dc)

Row3- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (55)

Row4-13:  Repeat and follow Row 2 & Row 3 pattern front panel.

Measure include ribbing- 7 inches/ 18 cm

Stop working front make 2 pieces of pocket then attach in the middle both fronts.

Pockets x 2:

Work: make chains 25, sc into 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch across, turn. (sc 24)

Pocket Row2- ch1 not count, sc in each 24 sts, turn.

From row 3-25: repeat row 2 pocket. Fasten off.

Sewing: mark middle 23 sts front panel. In the wrong side facing you, put pocket piece

on it, mark together, sew and join pocket piece to the front panel, use needle for sewing.

Then start work both fronts from row 14.

Row14- ch3 count dc, dc in each next 15 sts, leave front panel 23 sts as we

Marked for pocket, make dc in each 23 sts in the pocket we joined front panel, then

Continue dc in each front panel 16 sts, turn. We have 55 dc.

Row15- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, dc into last st, turn. (55)

Row16- ch3 count dc, dc in each st across till end, turn. (55 dc)

Row17-40:  Repeat and follow Row 15 & Row 16 pattern front panel.

Make Left Front Neck & Armhole/ Shoulder:

Row1- slip st in each 8 sts, dc next st,*make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across, turn. (47 sts)

Row2- skip a st, make dc in each st across, skip last st, turn. (45 dc)

Row3- skip a st, make dc next st, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*,

Repeat from * to * across till end, skip last st, turn. (43)

Row4-  Repeat and follow Row 2 front neck and shoulder. (dc 41)

Row5-  Repeat and follow Row 3 front neck and shoulder. (39)

Row6-  Repeat and follow Row 2 front neck and shoulder. (dc 37)

Row7-  Repeat and follow Row 3 front neck and shoulder. (35)

Row8-  Repeat and follow Row 2 front neck and shoulder. (dc 33)

Row9-  Repeat and follow Row 3 front neck and shoulder. (31)

Row15- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, skip last st, turn. (23)

Row16- ch3 count dc, dc in each st across till end, turn. (23 dc)

Row17- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

Row18-20: Repeat and follow Row 16 & Row 17 front neck and shoulder. (23)

Fasten off measure Approx. from division armhole- 9 inches/ 23 cm

Make Right Front Neck & Armhole/ Shoulder:

Row1- ch3 count dc, *make front post 2 together next dc, dc into next st*, repeat

From * to * across till end, skip last 8 sts, turn. (47 sts)

Now from Row 2 Repeat & follow left front neck shoulder/armhole pattern.

Fasten off

Sewing: sew and join shoulders seems together front panel to back panel shoulders

Both side, put right side facing together and join shoulders with slip st or use needle.

Then sew side seems on both side of jacket. Fasten off

Make armhole edging:

Work: rejoin yarn underarm middle st, make ch1 not count, make sc around armhole.

We have 90 sc, turn.

Row2-5- ch1, sc in each st around armhole. (90 sc)

Fasten off

Make Fronts Rib Band:

Row1- right siding facing you, join yarn in the corner st jacket border, ch1, sc in

St across front panel, then across neck, then across other side front panel edging, turn

Row2- ch1 count, make sc in each st across both fronts, turn.

Row3- ch1 count, sc in each 9 sts, *ch2, skip 2 sts for button hole, make sc in each

Next 13 sts*, repeat from * to * 4 more times, then across sc in each st neck and then

Across the 2nd front panel, turn.

Row4- ch1, sc in each st across front panel, then across the neck around, in the other

Side front panel we work button holes, make 2 sc into chain space button hole, sc in each

St across, turn.

Row5- ch1, sc in each st across both fronts and neck around. Slip st. fasten off

Sewing: sew buttons on the band, put marker on the 5 points as we worked other side

Buttonholes. And weave all ends.
