hello friends! today topic is my new creastion for easy crochet mosaic dishcloth pattern in round work,you can make it smaller or bigger for round tablemat/placemat for other home decors, I hope you would like and appreciate my new project mosaicfor home decors, For one thing, you can make these free crochet table mat/doily large size patterns for decorations.  

Lay them on the table as a centerpiece, drape them over the back of an armchair for a pop of color, and stretch them across a hoop to make a dreamcatcher or simply hang them on your walls to be admired. They can also serve more functional purposes like hot pads or placemats to increases more round. I like it so mu for table circular pattern.

You might be wondering how you crochet a doily like round table runner. Of course, there are many different ways to do it. That’s the fun part of crochet doily patterns! Each design brings something unique to the table. 


the pattern just like as doily patterns most are worked in the round. c.         crochet

ch.       chain

sc        single crochet

hdc      half double crochet

dc.       double crochet

Items to be need:

Wool:  50 Grams #4 DK Weight OR Medium Weight 4 ply

4 Ply wool Guage is (4 double crochet x 2 Rows in 1 inch) with

Hook sizes 4mm /G-6

 Crochet hook size: 4 mm (G-6) Hook 

 Size: Diameter- 7 inches/ 18 cm


Mosaic crochet dishcloth/washcloth free pattern:

Color A:

Make a magic circle OR make chains 5, slip st into first ch to make circle.

Now start row 1 into circle.

Row1- ch2 don’t count, make dc 14 into circle. Slip st into first dc. (dc 14)

Color B:

Row2- ch1 don’t count, *make dc into middle space between two dc sts,

Ch1*, Repeat from * to * around, at the end of make a ch, slip st into first dc.

Do slip st next middle ch-space and change color A

We have (Dc 14 + ch,s 14)

Color A:

Row3- ch1 don’t count, *make 2 dc into dc st 1 step-down, ch1, skip

Next dc, make 1 dc into dc st 1 step-down*, Repeat from * to * around,

At the end make ch1, slip st into first dc, slip st next dc, slip st

Next middle ch-space and change color B. (35 sts)

Color B:

Row4- Repeat and follow Row 3.

Color A:

Row5- ch1 don’t count, *make 2 dc into dc st 1 step-down, ch2, skip

Next dc, make a dc in each 2 sts 1 step-down*, Repeat from * to *

Around, at the end make ch2, slip st into first dc, slip st next dc,

Slip st next middle ch-space and change color B.

Color B:

Row6- ch1 don’t count, *make 2 dc into dc st 1 step-down, ch2, skip

Next 2 dc, make a dc in each 2 sts 1 step-down*, Repeat from * to *

Around, at the end make ch2, slip st into first dc, slip st next dc,

Slip st next middle ch-space and change color A.

Color A:

Row7- ch1 don’t count, *make 2 dc into dc st 1 step-down, dc into

Next dc 1 step-down, skip next 2 dc, ch2,* Repeat from * to *

Around, at the end make ch2, slip st into first dc, slip st next 2 dc,

Slip st next middle ch-space and change color B.

Color B:

Row8- ch1 don’t count, *make 2 dc into dc st 1 step-down, dc into

Next dc 1 step-down, skip next 3 dc, ch2,* Repeat from * to *

Around, at the end make ch2, slip st into first dc, slip st next 2 dc,

Slip st next middle ch-space and change color A.

Color A:

Row9- ch1 don’t count, *make 1 dc into dc st 1 step-down, 2 dc next

St 1 step-down, 1 dc next st 1 step-down, skip next 3 dc, make ch2*,

Repeat from * to * around, at the end make ch2, slip st into first dc,

Fasten off cut the yarn,

NOTE: If you want to make larger sizes place mat, do and follow the pattern,

Increase in double crochet  sts, work 1 step-down, and change color for every row.

Make edging:

Color B:

Row10- work 1 step-down, make ch1, *sc into dc st 1 step-down, 3 dc next

St 1 step-down, sc next dc 1 step-down, skip next 2 dc in row 9, make

Sc next dc*, Repeat form * to * around, at the end make sc in dc st,

Make chains 10, sc next dc, do slip st into first dc. Fasten off
