instrutions: We use Medium weight #4 yarn or Double Knit weight wool 4ply for this baby dress sweater top Size for baby 1-2 years, we mention below in the pattern. we added shells simple stitch for the pattern, it’s very easy to start, we mention below about all sizes, next Project will come another super baby patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links below free pattens with lot of include picrures and videos.

Items to be need:

Wool: (250 Grams #4 Medium Weight or DK Weight 4 Ply (16-20 = 4 inches)

Hook size:  0-3 months & 6-12 months 4mm (G-6), 

1-2 years: 5mm/ H-8

Baby Dress Size :   12-24 Months OR 1-2 years

Pattern Gauge:  4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Baby Dress polka dots or Sweater Top measurement.

Length:  from top to bottom : 18-20 inches/50-52 cm

chest size: 24 inches/61 cm

please notice: you can use any of wool and any of hook size. but we mention about little

 measurement for the sizes.

follow size chart for changing baby girls polka dots dress or sweater top:

0-3 months:     Front + back- chains 72 with hook size 4mm/G-6 

3-6 months:     Front + back- chains 80 with hook size 4mm/G-6  

6-12 months:   Front + back- chains 80 with hook size 4mm/G-6  

12-24 months: Front + back- chains 80 with hook size 5mm/H-8 

3-6  years:       Front + back- chains 88 with hook size 5mm/H-8 

8-12 years:      Front + back- chains 92 with hook size 5mm/H-8 

Adult Small:     Front + back- chains 100 with hook size 5mm/H-8 

Baby Dress Polka Dots Size 1-2 years:

color A Brown:

Make chains 80, slip st to join into 1^st ch.

Row1- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each ch around, do slip st join into 1^st ch. (hdc 80)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, *make FP dc into next st, BP dc into next st&, repeat from * to *

Around, do slip st join into 1^st FP dc. (80)

Row3- ch1 don’t count, *make FP into FP dc, BP into BP dc*, repeat from * to * around,

Do slip st join into 1^st dc. (80)

Row4- ch1 don’t count, *make FP into FP dc, BP into BP dc*, repeat from * to * around,

Do slip st join into 1^st dc. (80)

Row5- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st around, don’t make slip st, (hdc 80)

Row6-13: make hdc in each st around and around.(hdc)

Row14- make hdc in each st around, do slip st join into 1^st hdc. (hdc 80)

Row15- ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, *skip next 2 sts, make shell into next st(3dc, ch1,

sc post of dc, 2sc), skip next 2 sts, sc into next st*, repeat from * to * around, do slip st.

fasten off

Making skirt:

Now start work into beginning chains 80 into opposite direction for skirt.

Row1- ch1 don’t count, hdc 1 into same st, *2hdc into next st, 1 hdc into next st*,

repeat from * to * Around, don’t make slip st,(hdc 120)

Row2-25- make hdc in each st around and around, don’t make slip st. (hdc 120)

From shoulder to bottom measurement Approx. 18 inches/ 46 cm

Row26: ch1 don’t count, sc into same st, skip next st, make shell into next st (3dc, ch1,

sc post of dc, 2sc), skip next st, 1 sc into next st*, repeat from * to * around, do slip st.

fasten off

Making  tie lace shoulders x 4:

Work: make chains 4, slip st into 1^st ch to make small ring, into ring make *sc, 2dc*,

Repeat * to * 4 more times, slip st, make chains 36, do slip st into sc st into last row of

Chest in baby dress, make 3 more and follow same work, sew and join into shoulders 

both front And back. Then finish off

Making Polka Dots pattern:

Color B yellow:

Work, make a magic ring, make 12 hdc into ring, slip st. fasten off

Finishing: sew polka dots 60, and sew on dress front and back showing in pictures.

Leave 4 fingers gap between one another, and leave 5 rounds of sc then repeat the same.

Fasten off weave all ends.
