Instructions:  we will show pattern for beginners baby pullover sweater with button round neck design new for Boys/Girls 3-4 years. the pattern is so simple and easy you can easily to change the size as you want to make larger and smaller, we will explain below about the sizes, also we explain patterns in my video tutorial below.. We use two different  colors in this sweater you can chose any of other colors according to your taste. We used light weight 3ply /DK weight #3 yarn with 3.5 mm(E-4) crochet hook for the project. Size of the sweater we mention below in the pattern. This baby elegant moss sweater started bottom to top, we add simple new moss stitch, it’s very easy to start, so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention belwo the links. hope you will like and appreciate.

Items to be need:

Wool: 250 Grams (Light Weight #3/DK Weight yarn 3 ply (5 double crochet stitches= 1 inche)

Crochet hook size:  3.5 mm/ E/4 

Sweater size:      3-4 years Baby

Gauge:  5hdc x 2.5 rows = 1 inch

Length: Length from shoulder =15 inches

Make Rib Band:

3-4 years, make chains 70,

Row1- dc into 4^th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across, turn. (dc68)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc into same st, *make FP dc next st, BP dc into next st*,

Repeat from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn. (68 sts)

Row3- ch1 don’t count, hdc into hdc st, *make FP dc into FP, BP dc into BP*,

Neck Shape Left Front:

Row9- skip 10 sts in the middle of neck shape, rejoin yarn in next st, ch1 don’t cout,

Hdc in each next 24 sts, turn. (hdc 24)

Row10- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 24)

Row11- skip a st, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 23)

Row12- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 23)

Sew shoulders:

Color B:

Work: right side facing together and sew shoulder only one side front to back,

Leave rib band side of shoulder open for buttons.

Make Ribbing Neckline:

Color A:

Work: Row1- rejoin yarn in the corner of neck right side facing you, ch2, dc in each st around

The neck edging, then across in the back panel neck edging till corner, turn.

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc into same st, *make FP dc next st, BP dc into next st*, Repeat

from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn.

Row3- ch1 don’t count, hdc into hdc st, *make FP dc into FP, BP dc into BP*, Repeat

from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn. Fasten off

Sewing: sew the other side shoulder 2 inches, where we did the button band on both side,

Make sleeves:

With color A, make chains 38,

Row1- dc into 4th ch from the hook, dc in each ch across, turn. (dc 36)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, hdc into same st, *make FP dc next st, BP dc into next st*,

Repeat from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn. (36 sts)

Row3- ch1 don’t count, hdc into hdc st, *make FP dc into FP, BP dc into BP*,

Repeat from * to * across, hdc into last st, turn. (36 sts)

Fasten off start work in the sleeves and increase every 4^th row of pattern.

Color B:

Row1- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 36)

Row2- (INC) ch1 don’t count, 2 hdc into same st, 1 hdc in each st across, 2 hdc into

Last st, turn. (hdc 38)

Color A:

Row3- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn. (hdc 38)

Row4- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn.

Color B:

Row5- ch1 don’t count, hdc in each st across, turn.

Row6- (INC) ch1 don’t count, 2 hdc into same st, 1 hdc in each st across, 2 hdc into

Last st, turn. (hdc 40)

Color A:

Row7-40: Repeat and follow pattern from Row 3 to Row 6.

Changing color for every 2 Rows.

In the last row 40 we have 56 hdc, now stop increasing and continue.

Row41-ch1 don’t count, hdc in each 56 sts, turn. (hdc 56)

Row42-46: Repeat and follow Row 41 of sleeves.

Changing color for every 2 rows. Fasten off

Measure approx. include rib cuff band- 14 inches

Sewing: sew and join the sleeves on both armhole of sweater, right side facing put together,

And sew from one corner to another, use needle for sewing sweater and sleeves.
