This adorable and warm thick hat easy to crochet in all sizes. we have done and worked  the size from 1 -2 years with top baby sweater same pattern. i hope you will love it, Really great pattern you easily to change the size as you want to make for all sizes boys /girls and also for adult sizes. you can make it in different colors larger or smaller for all sizes according to your choice.

New & Stylish Easy Baby Sweater Top for Little Girls 

we explain below in my pattern in details for all sizes and also explain in details about all sizes in my video tutorial, i always want to bring easier pattern for all you and for beginners. watch the video tutorial

instrutions: We use Medium weight #4 yarn or Double Knit weight wool 4ply with 4mm(G-6) crochet hook for this baby sweater top with same hat, Size for baby 1-2 years, we mention below in the pattern. we added shells simple stitch in the pattern, it’s very easy to start, we mention below about all sizes, next Project will come another super baby crochet patterns. so, you can follow my other crochet ideas we mention the links below.

Items to be need:

Wool:  #4 Medium Weight or DK Weight 4 Ply (16-20 = 4 inches)

Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Size :   12-24 Months OR 1-2 years

Pattern Gauge:  4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Baby Hat measurement.

Length form top-bottom: 7-8 inches/17-18 cm

Circomference- 15-16 inches/ 38-40 cm

OR follow size chart for hat

girls hat free pattern:

12-24 Months: (Hat Circumference = 15-16 inches// Height hat = 7-8 inches

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.

Color A:

Chains 4, do slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle, or make a magic circle.

Round1. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 12 dc into circle, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(12 dc)

Round2. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(24 dc)

Round3. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc next st,*2 dc into next st, 1dc

into next st*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(36 dc)

Round4. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 2 sts,*2 dc into

next st,1dc in each next 2 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to  join into 1^st dc.(48 dc)

Round5. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 3 sts,*2 dc into

next st,1dc in each next 3 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to join into 1^st dc.(60 dc)

Color B:

Row6- make shell in the st, ch2 count, 4dc, *skip next 2 dc, make a shell (5dc) in next st*,

Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first dc of shell. (I have 20 shells groups)

Color A:

Row7- make shell in the middle space of both shells previous, (ch2 count, 4dc),

*Make shell (5dc) in next middle space between two shells previous row*, Repeat

From * to * around, do slip st in first dc of shell. (I have 20 shells).

Color B:

Row8- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color A:

Row9- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color B:

Row10- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color A:

Row11- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color B:

Row12- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color A:

Row13- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Color B:

Row14- Repeat and follow Row 7 of hat.

Make Ribbing Band of hat:

Row1- ch1 don’t count, *make a sc into dc of shell, sc 2 together in next 2 sts of shell*, Repeat

From * to * around, slip st into first sc. (sc 66)

Row2- ch1 don’t count, sc in each st around. Slip st into first st. (sc 66)

Row3- 7: Repeat and follow row of ribbing. Fasten off

 

Toddler & Small child :( 1 - 5 years - Hat Circumference = 17 inches// 

Height hat = 7-8.5 inches

Chains 2 do not count as stitch.

Color A:

Chains 4, do slip stitch into 1^st chain to make a small circle, or make a magic circle.

Round5. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 

3 sts,*2 dc into next st,1dc in each next 3 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to 

join into 1^st dc.(60 dc)

Round6. Ch2 we don’t count as stitch, make 2dc into same st, 1 dc in each next 

4 sts,*2 dc into next st,1dc in each next 4 sts*, repeat from * to * around, sl st to 

join into 1^st dc.(72 dc)

Add Pattern:

Color B:

Row7- make shell in the st, ch2 count, 4dc, *skip next 2 dc, make a shell (5dc) in next st*,

Repeat from * to * around, do slip st into first dc of shell. (I have 24 shells groups)

Color A:

Row8- make shell in the middle space of both shells previous, (ch2 count, 4dc), *Make

shell (5dc) in next middle space between two shells previous row*, Repeat From * to *

around, do slip st in first dc of shell. (I have 24 shells).

Color B:

Row9- Repeat and follow Row 8 of hat.

Color A:

Row10- Repeat and follow Row 8 of hat.

Color B:

Row11- Repeat and follow Row 8 of hat.
