Armhole Edging Lace:

Work: join yarn under arm, ch1 don’t count, make a sc into same st, *make shell(7dc)

In the next space, make sc in next space*, repeat from * to * around armhole. Do slip st.

Make Tie Lace:

Make chains 200, slip st in each st across, and make wool tassels attach in both corner of

Lace, then insert tie lace in the jacket. Fasten off

Make Border Lace Front panel:

Row1- right side facing you, join yarn in the bottom corner st, ch1 don’t count, sc into

Same st, *make shell 9 dc in next space in the edging front, skip next dc of the row, sc

In next middle st of next row*, repeat from * to * across front panel, then across back of

Neck line, then across other front edging, then across at the bottom changing line, do

Slip st into beginning sc.

Row2- slip st in next middle space of shell between dc, ch4, *dc in next middle space between

Dc, ch1*, repeat 5 more times in the same shell. Now from the edging of shell repeat * to *

7 times in each shell across till end. Do slip st in the beginning 3rd ch. Fasten off

For both armholes repeat and follow same work as we did in the front edging. Fasten off

Make tie lace:

Make chains lace 200, slip st in each ch across, make wool tassels in both corner. Then

Insert in the front. Fasten off

Instructions:  We have done new stylish crochet  ribbed Hat for adult sizes, you can be easily to change the size smaller or bigger, we explain in details about the pattern in my video tutorial. we have done the hat in one color, you can choose any of other colors according to your taste. We used skin in medium weight 4ply wool with hook size 4mm. you can use any of wool light weight or medium weight, Size of the hat we mention below in the pattern. it’s very easy to start in side way, fo more help you can watch ribbed hat video tutorial on my channel.

 Height of Hat: 8-9 inches/ 23-24 cm

circumference Hat: 18-20 inches/ 48-50cm


Free Pattern Hat forTeen Adult Small:

Make chains 40+1, length 10 inches

Row1- sc in 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each next 4 sts, *dc in each next 5 chains,

Sc in each next 5 chains*, Repeat * to * 1 more time, dc in each next 5 sts, sc

In each next 10 sts, Turn. (40 sts)

Row2- ch1 count sc, sc in each next 10 sc sts back loop only,* dc in each next 5 dc back loop only,

sc in each next 5 sc back loop only*, Repeat from * to * 2 more times, Turn. (40 sts)

Row3- ch1 count sc, sc in each next 4 sc sts back loop only,* sc in each next 5 dc back loop only,

dc in each next 5 sc back loop only*, Repeat from * to * one more time, sc in each next 5 dc back

loop only, sc in each next 10 sc back loop only, Turn. (40 sts)

Row4- ch1 count sc, sc in each next 10 sc sts back loop only,* sc in each next 5 sc back loop only,

Row7-68: Repeat & Follow Pattern (Row 3, Row 4, Row 5 & Row 6).

Measurement Approx. pattern 68 Rows Size 17-18 inches.

For Adult small size we have finished, for more large size repeat pattern 4 rows one more time.

For small size less the pattern rows. Then fasten off cut the yarn tail for sewing hat.

How to seam the Hat closing and Finishing.

Work: Fold hat in half. Working only in the front loops of the row you last worked and

beginning chain,Slip ST in each ST from the bottom of the hat to the top. CH 1 and tie 

off yarn leaving 24” tails. Weave tail end, in and out, around the top of the beanie. 

Pull tight to close up the top.

Secure with a few knots. Weave in ends. Flip hat inside out and fold the brim.
