Easy Crochet Beanie Mosaic Pattern Hat

Hello Friends and Followers! Today topic is crochet new and stylish Baby Beanie hat designed with mosaic pattern for winter season. This adorable and warm thick hat easy easy to crochet in all sizes. we worked the size from 1 -2 years toddler sizes, i hope you will be make and easily to change the size as you want to make for all sizes boys /girls and aloso for adult sizes. you can make it in different colors larger or smaller for all sizes as according to your choice.

Item to be need:

80 Gram #4 medium weight /DK Weight yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)

Crochet hook: 4mm (G/6)

Size: 1-2 years (include more sizes)

Gauge: 4 single crochet stitches x 4 Rows = 1 inch

US TERMS ABBREVIATIONS:

Mosaic Pattern Stitch Abbreviations (US Terminology)

BBS – Beginning Border Stitch

BLO sc – Back Loop Only Single Crochet

EBS – Ending Border Stitch

FLO dc – Front Loop Only Double Crochet

Fsc – Foundation single crochet

RS – Right Side

Special Stithches:

Back Loop Only Single Crochet (BLO sc)

Insert hook in back loop of indicated st, yo and pull up a lp, yo and draw through both lps on hook.

Front Loop Only Double Crochet (FLO dc)

Yo, insert hook in front loop of st below the indicated st, yo and pull up a lp, yo and draw through two lps on hook, yo and draw through remaining two lps on hook.

Start with Ribbing:

with color A, Make chains 6,

Row1- sc into 2^nd chain from the hook, sc in each ch across, turn work. (sc 5)

Row2- chain1 we count sc. Sc into back loop in each next 4 sts, turn work. (sc 5)

Now changing size. 12 stitches pattern and count the rows.

6-12 months: Repeat 60 Rounds= 15-16 inches / 38-40 cm (Hook size 3.5 mm/E-4)

1-2 years: Repeat 60 Rounds= 15-16 inches / 38-40 cm (Hook sizes 4mm/G-6)

Toddler & child: Repeat 72 Rounds= 17-18 inches / 43-44 cm (Hook sizes 4mm/G-6)

Adult Sizes: Repeat 84 Rounds= 19-20 inches / 46-48 cm (Hook sizes 4mm/G-6)

Sewing: close the Rib band, use needle for sewing, or crochet hook and slip st.

sew and join top 5 single crochet stitches to the beginning 5 chains.

Now starting with the Hat Pattern will crochet in the rounds. around the Ribbing Band

Row1- ch1 don’t count as st, make 60 sc around the ribbing band,

slip st in the 1^st st to close.(sc 60)

Row2- with color B, ch1 don’t count as st. make BLOsc in each st around,

slip st in the 1st st to close.(sc 60)

Row3- with color A, (BLOsc x1, FLOdc x1, BLOsc x9, FLOdc x1), repeat around, BLOsc x1,

slip st in the 1st st to close.( 60 stitches)

Row4- with color B, (FLOdc x1, BLOsc x2, FLOdc x7, BLOsc x2), repeat around, FLOdc x1,

slip st in the 1st st to close.( 60 stitches)

Row5- with color A, (BLOsc x2, FLOdc x1, BLOsc x7, FLOdc x1, BLOsc x1), repeat around,

BLOsc x 1, slip st in the 1st st to close.( 60 stitches)

Row6- with color B, (FLOdc x2, BLOsc x2, FLOdc x5, BLOsc x2, FLOdc x1), repeat around,

FLOdc x 1, slip st in the 1st st to close.( 60 stitches)

Row7- with color A, (BLOsc x3, FLOdc x1, BLOsc x5, FLOdc x1, BLOsc x2), repeat around,

BLOsc x 2, slip st in the 1st st to close.( 60 stitches)

Row8- with color B, (FLOdc x3, BLOsc x2, FLOdc x3, BLOsc x2, FLOdc x2), repeat around,

I have completed 21 Rows- measurement include ribbing- 6 inches / 15-16 cm
