Items to be need:
Wool: we will need 400 Grams Medium Weight #4 OR
DK Weight #4 yarn (16-20 = 4 inches)
Guage wool is (4 double crochet x 2 Rows =1 inches)
Hook size: 5mm/ H-8
Free Size: Ladies X-Small & Small Sizes
Pattern Gauge: 4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch
Sweater Length: top to bottom length: 16-17 inches/42-44 cm
Sleeves Length: from shoulder to cuffs: 16-17 inches/42-44cm
changing for Sizes: you can be add chains or use smaller or Bigger hook to change
for other sizes.
X- small size: chains 66+1: hook size 4mm /G-6
Small size: chains 66+ 1: hook size 5mm/ H-8
Medium size: chains 70 + 1: hook size 5mm/ H-8
Large size: chains 74 + 1: hook size 5mm/ H-8
X- Large size: chains 78 + 1: hook size 5mm/ H-8
Ribbed Sweater X -Small & Small Sizes Free Pattern:
Make
Back Panel:
Chains 66+1,
Row1- sc into 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each
next 9 sts, dc in each next 56 sts,
Turn. (66 stitches)
Row2- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each dc st into back loop
only across,
Then make sc in each sc 10 sts into back loop across, turn.
(66 sts)
Row3- ch1 don’t count, sc in each sc 10 sts into back loop
only across, then make
Dc in each dc into back loop only across, turn work. (66
sts)
Row4-9: Repeat and follow Row 2 & Row 3.
Make Neck
Ribbing:
Row10- chains 6, sc into 2nd ch, sc in each next
4 chains, then make dc in each dc
Into back loop only across, sc in each sc 10 sts into back
loop across, turn.
Row11- ch1 don’t count, sc in each sc 10 sts into back loop
only, then make Dc in each dc
into back loop only across, sc in each sc 5 sts into back
loop only across, turn.
Row12- ch1 don’t count, sc in each 5 sc sts into back loop
across, then dc in each dc into
Back loop only across, sc in each sc 10 sts into back loop
only across, turn.
Row13- 30: Repeat and follow Row11 & Row 12.
Row31- ch1 don’t count, sc in each sc 10 sts into back loop
only, then make Dc in each dc
into back loop only across, leave/skip neck ribbing 5 sc then turn work. (66 sts)
Row32- 39: Repeat and follow Row 2 & Row 3. Fasten off
Make
Front Panel:
Chains 66+1,
From Row1 to -39, Repeat and follow as same work we have
done in the back panel.
Fasten off
Make sleeves
x 2:
Chains 66+1,
Row1- slip st into 2nd ch from the hook, slip st in each
next 9 sts, dc in each next 56 sts,
Turn. (66 stitches)
Row2- ch2 don’t count, make dc in each dc st into back loop
only across,
Then make slip st in each slip sts 10 sts into back loop across,
turn. (66 sts)
Row3- ch1 don’t count, slip st in each slip st 10 sts into
back loop only across, then make
Dc in each dc into back loop only across, turn work. (66
sts)
Row4-26: Repeat and follow Row 2 & Row 3. Fasten off
Sewing Shoulders:
work: Right side facing together front panel and Back panel, with a crochet hook
sew and join shoulder seems together, make slip st in each st across shoulder, then
across neck ribbing 5 sts.Work on both side then attach the sleeves.
Sew & Join Sweater and sleeves:
Work: Right side facing fold the sleeve, start sewing from cuffs, with crochet hook make a
slip st In each 10 sts across, then slip st across in dc sts, count sts from shoulder
24 front panel armhole mark, and mark 24 sts armhole back panel, then Start and join
sleeves to the armhole with a slip st in 24 sts from down to top in the armhole, then across
in the back Panel 24 sts top to down, then
Sew and join sweater side front panel to back panel with a slip st from armhole top to
down. Fasten off
follow the same work other side of sweater and sleeves.
