Wool: 400 Grams #4 Medium Weight/DK weight 4 Ply (16-20 = 4 inches)

Hook size 4mm (G-6) OR  Size no/8

Baby Dress Toddler Size:   3-5 years

Pattern Gauge:  4 double crochet stitches x 2 Rows = 1 inch with Hook size 4mm (G-6)

Lenght: Baby Dress from top to bottom: 24 inches/61-62 cm

chest size: 26-27 inches/66-68 cm

sleeve length from under arm to cuffs: 12 inches/31-32 cm

Making Dress Skirt:

Row1- Rejoin yarn into middle st into corner back, ch2 not count, dc into same st, dc in each

 dc 44 stitches across to next corner in back panel, make 1 dc into corner st, make chains 8,

skip/leave sleeve stitches, make dc into next middle st of corner, make chains 8, skip/leave

second sleeve stitches, join with a slip st into beginning dc, turn.

now we have measuring chest size 28 inches/70-71 cm.

Row2- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, *2dc into next st, 1 dc into next st*, Repeat

From * to * across till end, slip st join into beginning dc, turn.

Row3- ch2 don’t count, dc in each dc st around, slip st join into beginning dc, turn.

Row4- ch2 don’t count, dc in each next 5 sts, underarm middle make 

(DTR- Double Treble St), make dc in each dc around the skirt, in the second under 

armhole middle st, make (DTR- Double Treble St), dc in each remains dc, 

slip st join into beginning dc, turn.

Row5- ch2 don’t count, dc in each dc st around, slip st join into beginning dc, turn.

Row6- 22: Repeat and follow Row 5.

Making Skirt Bottom Pattern:

Row19- (Decreasing), ch2 don’t count, make 2dc together in the sleeves cuffs around, slip st

Join into beginning dc.

Row20- ch2 don’t count, dc into same st, dc in each next 2 st, *2dc together, 1dc in each 

next 3 st*, Repeat from * to * around, slip st join into beginning dc. (dc 26)

Row21-  ch2, *make FP dc into next dc, BP dc into next dc*, Repeat from * to * around,

do slip st join into FP dc. (26)

Row22- ch2, *make FP dc into FP dc, BP dc into BP dc*, repeat from * to * around,

do slip st Into FP dc. (26)

Row23- Repeat Row3 of sleeves cuff. Fasten off

Making Collar Dress:

Color A:

Work:  Right side facing dress back panel, in the neck button hole edging, Rejoin yarn,

Ch1, sc across the edging button hole line from down to top, 2sc into neck corner st, then

make sc around the neck line foundation chains stitches, 2 sc other corner, make chains 4

for button space, then make sc across the edging from top to down, sc into middle of st,

join with a slip st into beginning sc. Fasten off

color B:

Row1- Right side facing neck line from back to front, join yarn in corner foundation ch st

between sc and dc, make slip st, then make slip st around the neck from back to front till back

neck corner, don’t stop now start work for collar from top to down.

Row2- ch3 (count as dc), skip next 2 slip st, *make shell into next slip st (2dc, ch2, 2dc), skip

next 2 slip st*, Repeat from * to * around in the neck slip stitches to end, make 1 dc in the last

slip st, turn.

Row3- ch3 count as dc, *make v-st into middle space of shell(1dc, ch2, 1dc)*, 

Repeat * to * around, make 1dc into top of beginning dc, turn.

Row4- ch3(count as dc), make shell into middle space of v-st(2dc, ch2, 2dc)*, 

Repeat * to * around, make dc into top of beginning dc, turn.

Row5- ch3 count as dc, *make v-st into middle space of shell(1dc, ch2, 1dc)*,

then insert in The Dress between chest and skit in the side space, Tie off.
